A combination of a wristband and watch which includes a tubular wristband having an inner layer of material, an outer layer of material, and a watch placed therebetween is disclosed. The inner layer has a slit formed therein and the outer layer has an opening formed therein. The slit and opening are substantially aligned. The watch has a base and a face attached to the base. The opening includes button-hole stitching. The face includes a rim and a recess is formed between the base and the rim. Once the watch is in place, the stitching fits snugly within the recess, thereby securing the watch within the opening.
A holding frame with interior tabs is attached inside an outer surface of a glove in a normal wrist watch position. A watch head with an outer peripheral groove in an outer perimeter matching an inner edge of the frame is snapped into the holding frame with the frame tabs snapping into the watch groove.
This invention relates generally to watches, and more specifically, to systems and methods for providing a wristwatch. In one embodiment, the invention includes a wristband including a strap, the strap being formed from an elastic textile, wherein the strap defines an orifice, the orifice configurable to being removably coupled to a housing member by elastically retracting around the housing member. In a further embodiment, the housing member further includes any of a timepiece, a computer, a music player, and a decorative element. In yet a further embodiment, the strap defines a continuous loop. In an additional embodiment, the housing member further includes Velcro.RTM. to further couple the housing member to the strap.
An article of footwear includes an upper that is at least partially formed from a base layer and thread sections that lie adjacent a surface of the base layer. The thread sections are positioned to provide structural elements that, for example, restrain stretch in directions corresponding with longitudinal axes of the thread sections. In some configurations of the footwear, a first portion of the thread sections may extend between forefoot and heel regions of the footwear, and a second portion of the thread sections may extend vertically. An embroidering process may be utilized to position the thread sections on the base layer.
