The present invention is directed to a neck rest moulded from a foamed material and having a rear pillow portion of a generally tubular configuration and two generally parallel laterally extending support sections extend at right angles from the front face at each end of said pillow portion. The opposing inner surfaces of the support are curved to form a keyhole shaped space between the support sections sized to permit the neck rest to comfortable fit around a person's neck without feeling yoked. The top surfaces and bottom surfaces of said support sections are preferably flat with rounded, the top surface of the pillow portion is higher than the top surfaces of the support sections and is curved to fit comfortable against the nape of the users neck. A flocking material is applied to the exterior surfaces of the neck rest.
A pillow is disclosed. An illustrative embodiment of the pillow includes a pillow body having a generally elongated main segment and a pair of spaced-apart extension segments extending from the main segment; a pillow interior defined between the main segment and the extension segments; and a pair of pillow arms extending from the pillow body into the pillow interior.
The "7"-shaped seat belt pillow includes a neck-supporting pillow member which is adapted to be placed behind the head or neck while sitting in a vehicle's seat. The neck-supporting pillow member has integrally formed therewith a secondary body pillow member which is angled to approximate the angle of a buckled shoulder restraining strap. The secondary body pillow is adapted to be strapped to the seat belt and can be snuggled and hugged.
A triune, substantially bilaterally symmetrical pillow for a reclining human being is configured to provide therapeutic and support and comfort for the head and neck while lying on one's back and side, and allow use in two, opposite orientations to increase durability and functional capacity. A center section is provided with a thin portion, abutted on either side along one axis by two substantially similar convex portions, and abutted on either side along a second axis normal to the first by two substantially identical flat end sections. The end sections have cutaways near the bottoms of their sides, to either side of their connections to the center section, that are designed to accommodate the shoulder of a human user. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract which will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.
A support for supporting at least a part of the human body is provided. In some embodiments, the support may include a support body having a first resistance to deformation and at least one buoyancy cushion having a second resistance to deformation, wherein said buoyancy cushion is substantially disposed at least partially within said support body.
