AbstractAn apparatus for analyzing a plurality of compounds is used in conjunction with microfluidic devices for performing high throughput screening assays. A conveyor system delivers libraries of compounds to a microfluidic device which accesses the compounds in order to screen large numbers of different compounds for their effects on a variety of chemical and biochemical systems.

A PCT Application designating the United States of America, WO8/00231, published Jan. 8, 1998, substantially identical to the present application, was co-filed in the United States Receiving Office on Jun. 24, 1997.
