A pharmaceutical composition for oral adminstration comprising a film-coated solid dosage form including 3-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-N-methyl-1H-indole-5-methanesulphonamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof as active ingredient. The film-coated solid dosage forms are of use in the treatment of conditions associated with cephalic pain, in particular migraine.

No. 08/107,847 filed on Aug. 13,1993 and which application has been abandoned, which is a 371 of PCT/EP92/00460, filed Mar. 2, 1992.
The present invention is directed to multilayer pharmaceutical tablets in which an NSAID and a triptan are present in separate and distinct layers. The layers are in a side-by-side configuration, which allows the dissolution of triptan and NSAID to occur independently and immediately.
