Abstract
Therapeutic products using processed cherry pits. The pits are removed from the cherries, and then washed, cleaned, dried, and sorted. The whole cherry pits are inserted into bags or containers made of a mesh flame-retardant material. The bags of cherry pits are included in an outer device, such as a cushion, U-shaped neck device, or a huggable stuffed animal character, forming a therapeutic product. The material forming outer device or product is preferably coated with a mildew-resistant, flame-retardant material and also preferably is washable, as well as being water-resistant.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS The present application is related to U.S. patent application Ser. No. 09/396,581 now U.S. Pat. No. 6,289,543 entitled "Process and System for Processing Cherry Pits" and which is filed on the same day as the present application. The subject matter and disclosure of said U.S. patent application Ser. No. 09/396,581 now U.S. Pat. No. 6,289,543 is hereby incorporated by reference herein. Moreover, priority of the subject matter of the present application is based on pending U.S. Provisional Application Ser. No. 60/144,300, filed on Jul. 16, 1999, the disclosure of which is also hereby incorporated by reference therein.
