A paintball gun is sized and designed to appear like and operate in a manner similar to a conventional gun. A dual-action firing bolt moves forward, assisting in launching a projectile, under cast pressure. The bolt then releases the compressed gas to carry the projectile down the barrel. Return springs operate to move the bolt and its valves to a ready-to-fire position. Similarly, trigger actuation mechanisms are spring-actuated to return to the ready-to-fire position. A removable magazine stores projectiles and propellant. The magazine is small enough to fit into a handle of a pistol. A user may selectively release just the projectile portion of the magazine, in order to leave the propellant undisturbed until fully expended. The magazine can be completely removed without substantial loss of propellant.
A three-in-one high-pressure gas cylinder magazine. A high-pressure gas cylinder is installed within a holding cavity, and held firmly using a fine tuning knob and securing cover. A spring mount and a securing seat are disposed within a pellet guide cavity defined parallel to the holding cavity. When the pellets are decreasing, the inner securing seat upwardly pushes the pellets within the pellet guide cavity and secures them within a securing ring in a ready state for propelling out a model pistol. When a gastight valve within a cylinder is full of gas, then an inner piston rod is put in a pneumatic state, and the cylinder and a slide cover are simultaneously driven backward as soon as the piston rod is driven by the gas, thereby fixing a hammer in a rear position, thus achieving simplification, automatic operating functionality, and succeeding in simulating a real pistol.
A bullet cartridge for toy air gun (air soft gun BB-gun) in which a gasket member is mounted with a metal bush and stopped at an annular stop flange between a front air chamber and a rear air chamber to support a reciprocating motion of a piston rod, and a compression spring is mounted on the piston rod and stopped between the metal bush and a collar of the piston rod to hold the piston rod in the close position where the front stop flange of the piston rod is stopped at the front side of the gasket member to seal the air passage between the CO.sub.2 steel cylinder and the jet nozzle through which compressed gas passes to drive a bullet out of the toy air gun.
A paintball gun utilizes pressurized air to fire a paintball to avoid using a spool protruding from a barrel to fire the paintball which may pinch the user's finger, accidentally. The paintball gun also uses a low pressure regulator to seal a port of the barrel to block pressurized air from entering into the barrel to prevent triggering the gun and damaging others.
A hopper for a paintboll gun is disclosed. The hopper is a gravity feed hopper and has a lower profile than those in the previous art. The hopper fits closely to the profile of the paintball gun and may have multiple chambers along with unidirectional gates to control the flow between chambers and within chambers as well. This invention may take the form of a hopper mounted onto a previous type of paintboll gun as an aftermarket add-on or it may be built into the paintball gun itself as part of its construction.
