A body pillow having an upper end which is essentially in the shape of a horseshoe and a lower end which is essentially in the shape of a J, a straight portion connecting the horseshoe-shaped top with the J-shaped bottom, the cross-sectional diameter of the body pillow being between 7 and 12 inches.
A multiple position contoured body pillow having an elongated somewhat oblong or oval shape adapted to conform to the spine and upper torso of a human user by means of a main body section consisting of a longitudinally extending back portion having a contoured inner peripheral edge and a substantially straight outer peripheral edge, transversely extending symmetrically curved U-shaped arms attached to the ends of the main body section which arms may be repositioned toward the main body section and which arms are adapted to "spring back" into position when abducted from the main body section of the pillow, the first symmetrically curved arm being provided at a terminal end thereof with a pocket adapted to contain a foldable fabric pouch for storing remote controls, small books, and the like.
Children's rocking toy, in particular in the form of a stylized horse, having a one-piece basic body made of flexible synthetic material, a simply curved rocking surface forming the base of the rocking toy and a seat region molded into it. In one refinement, the seat region is molded into it to a sufficient depth that a backrest region is produced. The rocking toy has a horse's head and a horse's rear part which serves as a support for a child situated in the seat. The basic body can consist of foam, in particular of foam rubber. In this case, the basic body is of a Shore hardness sufficient for it to have sufficient stability for rocking and to yield when a child is lying on a side surface of the toy. For further stabilization purposes, the basic body widens in its cross section towards the base. The basic body is preferably manufactured from a foam block and, for further refinement, can have a material covering, if appropriate a slip-on cover.
The present invention relates to a body support pillow made and contoured to promote side lying to reduce snoring and negate the consequences of sleep apnea and symptoms. It consists of a body support pillow with integrated, semi-rigid yet flexible support for a person's head, back, and legs while lying on their side thereby encouraging either left or right side position sleeping.
A symmetrical contoured support pillow formed essentially in an inverted U-shape, comprising essentially a semi-circular crown designed to support the head of a woman and a pair of spaced symmetrical legs extending downwardly and outwardly divergently away from the crown, the legs having lower ends which are curved inwardly towards each other and forming toes, each leg having a convex bulge extending inwardly in the space between the two legs, the bulges extending towards each other, the resulting space between the legs as formed by the convex bulges being essentially in the shape of an hourglass, the woman lying between the legs of the pillow on her side such that one of the bulges is received in a curvature of the back of the woman whereas the other bulge is received in a tummy area of the woman.
