A novel composition having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms and an aryl group, and R.sub.2 is selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms and an aryl group. The composition is made by combining an amine compound, a carbonyl compound, a solvent, and a sulfur-containing compound. The composition is used as a detergent additive in cleaning process.
