A paper folding mechanism for folding continuous paper is provided. The folding mechanism includes a swing guide caused to pivot for guiding the paper, and first and second paper guides which are spaced from each other. The first paper guide is displaceable relative to the second paper guide. The folding mechanism also includes a paper presser arranged adjacent to the first paper guide for folding the paper along fold lines. The paper presser is designed to move relative to the first paper guide.
A folding device for sheets of paper or plastic has at least one folding pocket for receiving a sheet to be folded and at least one deflection strip for deflecting a sheet not to be folded. A common holder is provided, and the folding pocket and the deflection strip are secured on the common holder. The common holder has two sidewalls and the folding pocket and the at least one deflection strip are arranged between the two sidewalls. The folding pocket and the deflection strip are adjustable in opposite directions relative to one another. A common drive is provided for the folding pocket and the deflection strip.
The present invention relates to a device for folding continuous medium including a swing arm pivotable about an axis at one end of the swing arm. The continuous medium is guided by the swing arm and accordion-folded with equal widths as a result of the swinging operation of the swing arm. The swing arm has a telescopic structure for varying the length of the swing arm over a range of a swing of the swing arm.
