7356958 - Forward rail mounted trigger module

The present invention is a rail mounted forward trigger mechanism featuring in-line linkage between the primary and secondary triggers. Access to adjustment features provides adjustability while simultaneously allowing the mechanism to remain installed. The linkage is also hinged and mounted coaxially with the disconnect pivot point of a weapon, thereby allowing field stripping the weapon without removing the linkage. Connection to the primary trigger of the host weapon is ideally accomplished with a can and roller assembly for smoother and more controlled actuation. An electrical embodiment is also disclosed.

6901691 - Minimum exposure weapon

A proven military combat-type weapon with the stock removed therefrom converted to an improved tactical weapon by addition of retrofit assemblies which include a collapsible and bilaterally pivoting stock, a front stabilization system, and a sighting system. This improved tactical weapon has the characteristics of reduced exposure to enemy fire by allowing the operator to fire while under cover, and increased weapon stability by the utilization of the front stabilizer assembly. Utilizing this invention, the operator is able to shoulder support and fire the weapon with minimal exposure to enemy fire. Furthermore, by exerting force to (leaning against) the weapon stock, the weapon is pinned between the operator and the object (i.e., wall, tree, etc.). The amount of gun movement is reduced and the stability of the weapon is increased over a weapon which is only hand held when the gun is fired.

7493718 - Rifle with shoulder support - Owned by Steinkamp Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG (Espelkamp,DE)

A rifle has a shoulder support and at least one barrel connected to the shoulder support. A trigger is provided and a chamber is arranged behind the trigger when looking in a direction from a front end of the barrel toward the shoulder support. A movable breechblock has a closed position in which the chamber is closed off. At least one firing pin for firing a cartridge inserted into the chamber when the trigger is triggered is provided. A coupling mechanism connects the shoulder support or a swivel arm to the breechblock. The breechblock is movable by a pivot movement of the shoulder support or the swivel arm transmitted by the coupling mechanism. An axis of rotation of the shoulder support or the swivel arm is arranged within a space delimited by the breechblock and the trigger viewed across a length of the rifle.
