Abstract
The invention relates to a plug connector arrangement with a two-part mating halves (1, 29), in which a first mating half (1) can be joined to a second mating half (29) via a plug-in control (7). The plug-in control (7) has a lever arm (2) pivotally mounted on a mating half (1) that controls a gearing region (9, 36, 37), forcibly actuating the mating halves (1, 29). The lever arm (2) is provided on one side on the mating half (1) and in addition to its pivot movement (8) is mounted via a pivot support (10) on the mating half (1) to ensure that the mating halves and the electrical connections are securely joined, despite simple construction, whereby the invention may be used in as many different ways as possible.

6827593 - Lever-type connector - Owned by Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. (Yokkaichi,JP)

A lever-type connector (10) has a frame-shaped holder (11) for accommodating auxiliary connectors (24). A lever (40) is mounted on the holder (11) and is adapted to connect the lever-type connector (10) and a male connector (50) by cam action effected as the lever (40) is rotated. The lever (40) extends along only one wall surface of the holder (11). Thus, wires (27) and the lever (40) are unlikely to interfere with each other. Further, the lever (40) is accommodated in a recess (16) of the holder (11) and is held from opposite sides along a direction of the rotational axis. Thus, the lever (40) will not deform along the direction of the rotational axis and will not detach from the holder (11).

6837753 - Split-type connector and connector assembly - Owned by Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. (Yokkaichi,JP)

A split-type connector (10) has a holder (11) and auxiliary connectors (28) that can be mounted in the holder (11). A retainer (34) is mountable in the holder (11) and can be moved from a first position where the auxiliary connectors (28) can be mounted in the holder (11) and a second position where the auxiliary connectors (28) are locked. The retainer (34) has returning slanted surfaces (40) for pushing the retainer (34) from the second position to the first position in the process of mounting auxiliary connectors (28) into the holder (11).

6764324 - Lever-type connector assembly - Owned by Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. (JP)

A lever-type connector assembly has mating female and male connectors (10, 50). The female connector (10) has a lever (40) with a cam plate (41) and a resilient lock (46) that is deformable within the plane of the cam plate (41). The resilient lock (46) engages a receiving portion (33A) on the female connector (10) for holding the lever (40) at an initial position. The connector (50) has an unlocking rib (55) that deforms the resilient lock (46) out of engagement with the receiving portion (33A). As a result, the lever (40) can rotate for connecting the connectors (10, 50). Since the resilient lock (46) deforms in the plane of the cam plate (41), there is no need to provide space for deformation of the resilient lock (46) along a thickness direction of the cam plate (41).

6733313 - Connector having an operable member and a connector assembly - Owned by Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. (Yokkaichi,JP)

A lever (40) of a connector assembly is in the form of a single plate, and a resilient lock (48) for locking the lever (40) at a connection completing position and a finger placing portion (47B) used to rotate the lever (40) are adjacent to each other at one end of the lever (40). The resilient lock (48) extends along the plane of the lever (40) and is resiliently deformable along a direction normal to the plane. Thus, a larger area can be secured for an unlocking portion (48B) of the resilient lock (48) without increasing the thickness of the lever (40), thereby providing good unlocking operational efficiency.

6805564 - Split-type connector and connector assembly - Owned by Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. (Yokkaichi,JP)

A connector assembly has a split-type connector (10) configured for insertion into a receptacle (53) of a mating connector (50)i. The split-type connector (10) has a holder (11) and auxiliary connectors (28) that can be mounted in the holder (11). A retainer (34) is mountable in the holder (11) and can be moved from a first position where the auxiliary connectors (28) can be mounted in the holder (11) and a second position where the auxiliary connectors (28) are locked. The receptacle (53) has dovetail grooves (56) and the holder (11) has dovetail ribs (27) that engage to prevent the receptacle (53) from deforming away from the outer surface of a holder (11).
