Tricycle and intermediate frame for tricycle. The tricycle includes a rear axle, rear wheels coupled to free ends of the rear axle, a rear seat, and a rear frame coupled to the rear axle and to the rear seat. A front frame includes a fork tube, and the front frame and the rear frame are detachably connectable to each other. The tricycle also includes a handlebar, and a fork coupled to the handle bar. The fork is rotatably coupled to the fork tube. A front wheel includes pedal cranks and is rotatably coupled to the fork. A second seat and a holding element are also included. The intermediate frame is arranged to support the second seat and the holding element, and is detachably coupled between the front frame and the rear frame.
A combination vehicle frame includes a base frame unit formed of a plurality of frame bars detachably connected to one another. One of the frame bars is provided with a head having intersected first through hole and second through hole. A rear wheel frame unit is detachably connected to the base frame unit remote from the head. A front wheel frame unit is selectively inserted through one of the first through hole and second through hole of the base frame unit.
A vehicle for carrying a child that is pushed along by one walking, jogging, or running, steerable with handlebars, and convertible from a push stroller to a rideable, operator-powered tricycle. The stroller converts from a stroller pushable from a back end to a tricycle by extending telescoping frame members and attaching a seat frame assembly comprising pedals, a crank, a continuous drive element, front and rear drive elements, and a first gear for driving a pair of rear wheels. Further, a child-carrying feature attaches at a front end to a frame support member and at a back end to a rotatable handlebar assembly. The stroller of the present invention also converts into a compact configuration for convenient transportation or storage by removing the seat frame assembly, retracting the telescoping frame members, and folding the handlebar assembly forward.
A vehicle including a frame, left and right wheels, and a leaning suspension system. The frame defines a longitudinal vehicle axis. The leaning suspension system includes a transverse beam, left and right damping members, left and right control arms, and at least one lean actuator. The transverse beam is coupled to the frame and pivotable about the vehicle axis. The left and right damping members are pivotally coupled to the left and right sides of the transverse beam. The left control arm is pivotally coupled to the left wheel and to the frame, and the right control arm is pivotally coupled to the right wheel and to the frame. The lean actuator is pivotally connected between the frame and the transverse beam. The lean actuator is configured to extend and retract to tilt the left and right wheels and to lean the vehicle while cornering.
A vehicle comprising a frame, at least one wheel operable to contact a substantially horizontal support surface, a prime mover supported by the frame and in driving engagement with the at least one wheel, a suspension system operable to maintain the frame in an upright position while driving along a straight path and to permit the frame to lean relative to the support surface while cornering, and at least two headlights coupled to the suspension system and arranged in a substantially horizontal configuration, wherein the headlights remain in the substantially horizontal configuration when the frame is in the upright position and when the frame is leaning.
