Abstract
An oscillating reluctance motor includes a rotor having a center on which a rotational shaft is fixed thereto, and a pair of teeth protruding from said rotational shaft and arranged in positions opposite to each other; a stator in which a cylindrical space is formed so that the rotor can rotate and first and second winding parts are formed; rotation control means which is installed between the rotor and a stator to control rotation of the rotor, wherein a first winding coil is wound on the first winding part, a second winding coil is wound on the second winding part and the first winding part and the second winding part are formed having an angle centering around the rotational shaft as a pair so that the rotor can perform periodical rotation movement.

7298101 - Continuously variable frequency swinging armature motor and drive - Owned by Panint Electronic Ltd. (Hong Kong,CN)

Disclosed herein is a power device. The power device has a power source; timing circuitry powered by the power source for producing a current pulse output having a pulse width; a switch for triggering the current pulse output produced by the timing circuitry; an armature motor powered by the power source and in electrical communication with the timing circuitry for receiving the current pulse therefrom, the armature motor comprising: an electro-magnetic core; a first winding for carrying electric current to energize a magnetic field associated with the electro-magnetic core; a second winding for carrying current to reset the magnetic field associated with the electro-magnetic core, the first and second windings wound about the electro-magnetic core; and a swinging armature for providing movement in response to the energizing of the magnetic field about electromagnetic core. The first winding and the second winding are bifilar wound together about the electro-magnetic core. When the switch triggers the current pulse from the timing circuitry, the armature operates at the current pulse output pulse width. The invention permits higher frequency operation and more output pressure/output to be generated with devices with variable speed motors.

7436094 - Rotary actuator - Owned by Minebea Co., Ltd. (Kitasaku-Gun, Nagano,unknown)

A rotary actuator has a stator having plural permanent magnets 1a and 1b; a rotor having a rotor core 3 which plural salient poles 3a and 3b are formed at, and one or more rotor coils 5 are wound around; an electromagnetic torque generating portion A comprising the stator and the rotor which, by supplying an electric current to the rotor coils 5, generates an electromagnetic torque which displaces a relative angle position of the rotor and the stator in approximate proportion to the magnitude of the electric current; and a coil spring 36 biased in approximate proportion to the magnitude of the relative angle displacement of the rotor and the stator, and thereby generating a torque in the direction opposite to the direction of the electromagnetic torque. When the exciting current is supplied to the rotor coils 5, the electromagnetic torque in approximate proportion to the magnitude of the electric current is generated between the rotor and the stator, which makes the coil springs 36 bias and the rotor or the stator rotate to and be held at the angular position where the generated electromagnetic torque corresponds to the opposite torque generated by the coil spring 36.
