A workstation for a portable easel, especially a French easel, has hinged tray halves which, when open, have slides which engage the sides of the easel drawer from the exterior and thus hold the tray open so that the tray does not obstruct access to the interior of the drawer while providing a place to rest a palette. On the other side, the tray may form a brush rack and towel holder.
An adjustable easel having a canvas holder and a base is provided. The canvas holder is attached to the base in a way that the canvas holder can swivel with respect to the base and the canvas holder can be tilted with respect to the base. A connecting device includes a canvas holder bracket that is fixed to the canvas holder, a first shaft on which the canvas holder bracket is rotatably attached so that the canvas holder can be tilted, a second shaft on which the first shaft is fixed, and a base bracket that is fixed to the base. The base bracket is rotatably attached to the second shaft so that the canvas holder can swivel. The canvas holder includes a gripping device that grips a canvas and is adjustable to accommodate different sizes of the canvas.
A lightweight, portable easel designed for use with a standard photographic tripod as a means for painting on location. The easel is equipped with an angled retaining ledge, a retractable brush holder mounted on the left and right side for easy access, a retractable hook for suspending a container, and a base mount for connection to a tripod. By utilizing the angle adjustments of the tripod, the work surface can be adjusted to the preferred angle of the user.
A portable, collapsible artist's easel apparatus (10) including a framework member (20) that pivotally supports a compartmented receptacle member (40) equipped with at least one easel tray (45) that may be disposed in a cantilevered fashion relative to the receptacle member (40) wherein, a pair of extensible leg members (25) (26) are pivotally connected to the framework member (20) which is further associated with a pair of flange elements (60) (60) which are pivotally connected to a rear leg member (29) and a canvas support unit (13).
A portable absorbent wipe support apparatus (apparatus) including at least a main body portion with a mounting clip support, a mounting clip in sliding communication with said clip support, and an article retention portion hinged to an article retention catch of the main body portion is disclosed. In a first embodiment, the article retention portion preferably includes a dowel support supporting a hinge dowel, wherein said dowel interacts with the article retention catch to secure the article retention portion to the main body portion. Preferably, the mounting clip alone maintains the main body portion positioned relative to and in contacting adjacency with a mounting surface by steps for installing said apparatus. The steps preferably include; guiding an extension portion of a mounting clip through a mounting clip aperture of said clip support, and sliding a retention portion of said mounting clip into pressing contact with the mounting surface.
