A partition structure for a vehicle is disclosed. The partition structure is mainly composed of a partition panel provided between a passenger compartment and a cargo compartment, hinge mechanisms provided for connecting lower corners of the partition panel with a floor of the passenger and cargo compartments, a lock mechanism for supporting the partition panel in a closed state. The partition panel has a low rigidity energy absorption part provided at a lower center part. By this configuration, the partition panel is prevented from deforming even by the application of load thereto without increasing weight or manufacturing cost.
There is provided a movable seat for a vehicle which makes it possible for passengers to feel more liberating. The vehicle is partitioned into a cab and the bed by a partition wall. A plurality of seats are provided in the cab and arranged in parallel in the direction of the width of a vehicle body. A seat moving mechanism is provided between the seats and the vehicle body, for holding the plurality of seats such that the plurality of seats can move in the direction of the width of the vehicle body, and moving the plurality of seats from the cab rearward onto the bed and holding the plurality of seats.
A through-seat holder for a motor vehicle has a vehicle frame having generally parallel longitudinal members and transverse side members interconnecting ends of the longitudinal members and defining therewith a throughgoing opening. The longitudinal members are spaced apart by a predetermined transverse distance and form a pair of parallel outwardly facing guide faces flanking the opening and spaced apart by a predetermined transverse dimension greater than the transverse distance. A device frame fittable in the opening of the vehicle frame has generally parallel longitudinal members and transverse side members interconnecting ends of the respective longitudinal members. One of the device-frame transverse members is formed with a rim having a transverse width equal substantially to the dimension so that the rim cannot pass through the opening when extending transversely. The rim forms a pair of transversely spaced contact points engageable with the faces and defining a transversely extending pivot axis.
