Abstract
A triggering device of a nail driver has a single shooting mode and a continuous shooting mode. The triggering device is installed between a safety bar and a trigger of a driver body of the nail driver. The safety bar has an push sleeve extending out of a beating opening of the driver body; a trigger valve being on the driver body at an inner side of the trigger; a valve rod being in the trigger valve. When the trigger is triggered, the valve rod will be actuated so as to open the trigger valve to beat a nail. The trigger device comprises a swingable elastomer having a shape like a cambered hook and being pivotally installed within the trigger. A swingable end of the elastomer has at least one buckle. A hook is at one side of a swinging path of the elastomer. A tension spring is installed on the hook; and a movable rod is at another end of the swinging path of the elastomer. A compressible spring is installed on the movable rod which is assembled to the safety bar.

7073697 - Trigger switch structure of nail driver

A trigger switch structure of a nail driver is disclosed. The nail driver body comprises a nail driver body; a security device; one end of the security device being connected to the trigger device of the nail driver body; a trigger device: a trigger cover pivotally installed to the nail driver body; the trigger device being a U shape device; a driving sheet pivotally connected to the trigger cover and received in the trigger cover; a pivotal rod passing through the holes on the trigger cover and the driving sheet so as to fix the driving sheet to the trigger cover; and a switch; one end of the switch being formed with a ring; a stopper being extended downwards from the ring; a lower side of the stopper being formed with a recess; and the stopper protruded downwards between the ring and the recess being buckled to the block.

7308995 - Nailing machine - Owned by Max Co., Ltd. (Tokyo,JP)

A nailing machine includes a switch operating member 40 for setting to switch respective modes of single striking and continuous striking, and pivot restricting mechanism for restricting a contact lever 34 for operating a valve stem 19 of a start valve 15 from being pivoted in cooperation with the switch operating member 40 set to switch to the single striking mode. By the pivot restricting mechanism, an amount of pivoting the contact lever 34 at a position of operating to draw a middle of a trigger lever 31 in the single striking mode is restricted, and a valve stem 19 is maintained to maintain a state of operating to make the start valve 15 ON.Therefore, a reaction of the nailing machine in the continuous striking is reduced, further, dribble in the single striking mode is prevented from being brought about. In addition thereto, an erroneous operation in connecting an air chuck is prevented.

7318546 - Adjustable depth-of-drive mechanism for a fastener driving tool - Owned by Illinois Tool Works Inc. (Glenview, IL)

An adjustable depth-of-drive mechanism for a fastener driving tool having a housing structure defining an axis, and a nosepiece extending generally axially from the housing structure, includes a lower work contact element having a sleeve for reciprocatingly receiving the nosepiece, an upper work contact element attached at a first end to the housing structure, a rotatable thumbwheel assembly having a first portion engageable with the lower work contact element, a thumbwheel assembly accessible by a user and a second portion having at least one detent assembly, and a retaining mechanism for retaining the thumbwheel assembly relative to the upper work contact element where the second portion is received by a second end of the upper work contact element, where during thumbwheel rotation relative to the first portion in either direction, the position of the lower work contact element is moved relative to the nosepiece.

7464843 - Trigger switch mechanism of nail gun - Owned by De Poan Pneumatic Corp. (Taipei,TW)

A trigger switch mechanism of a nail gun is pivotally attached between two side plates of a trigger of the nail gun. The switch mechanism includes a blocking piece pivotally attached to a safety slide rod and a trigger valve rod of the nail gun. Each of the side plates includes an axis hole, and two blocking grooves are disposed in the axis hole. The switch mechanism includes a plurality of blocking teeth, and a spring is disposed between one of the side plate and the switch mechanism to abut the switch mechanism and nest the blocking teeth into the blocking groove for stopping the switch mechanism. The switch mechanism includes a dial portion for being dialed by a hand of the operator, which is capable of deviating the blocking teeth from the blocking grooves to release the switch mechanism, and rotating the switch mechanism to adjust the position of the blocking piece relative to the safety slide rod, so as to realize conveniently switching the operation modes of the trigger of the nail gun.

7431187 - Nailer - Owned by Hitachi Koki, Co., Ltd. (Tokyo,JP)

A wrenching portion provided in an adjuster and employed for assembling is formed at a gripping portion for rotation. The gripping portion is formed in a polygonal shape. In this configuration, the adjuster is decreased in size and weight and its operability of adjusting a driving depth is improved. An undercut portion is removed in a vertical direction and a non-slip rugged portion is provided in only a longitudinal direction so that it can be manufactured in a simple tow-part mold, thereby reducing the production cost.
