A board swing which utilizes a pair of somewhat flexible side frame members which are interconnected by a top rail with this top rail being spaced from the supporting surface on which the side frame members rest. An elongated board is mounted by a pair of flexible side members onto the top rail by a pair of pivot means. The elongated board is capable of swinging longitudinally relative to the top rail and is also capable of swinging side-to-side toward and away from the side members. The top rail is pivotable relative to the side members. There may be included a safety member that extends between the pivot means that mounts the flexible supports onto the top rail.
A trainer for tap swing and giant swing training (collectively, "giant maneuvers") on a high bar comprises an engagement rotatably coupled to the high bar, a cantilever affixed to the engagement, an upper support member joined at an obtuse angle to the cantilever, a lower support member pivotally coupled to the upper support member, a foot grasp joined to the lower support member at a location remote from the pivotal coupling to the upper support member, and a safety harness coupled to at least one of the upper support member and the lower support member proximate to the pivotal coupling.
A ropeboard apparatus includes a ropeboard, and a support rope for hanging the ropeboard from an elevated structure. The ropeboard comprises an elongated platform having a longitudinal platform axis and a top surface shaped for a user to stand thereon, and a coupler for rotatably coupling the platform to the support rope so that the platform can be rotated about its longitudinal axis. The ropeboard apparatus may also include a spunk or universal joint for attaching the support rope to the structure, and a handle attached to the support rope at a location above the ropeboard. The coupler may comprise a shaft rigidly connected to the platform and oriented along the longitudinal axis, and a connector rotatably coupled to the shaft for connecting the platform to the support rope. The subject ropeboard apparatus is a new recreational and sporting apparatus that facilitates the performance of an extreme sport involving stunts and tricks.
