A method of modifying the behavior of an animal including the steps of increasing a stimulation level of a stimulation device in stimulating contact with the animal, the stimulation level associated with one of a plurality of levels, the plurality of levels including a minimum level, applying a stimulation to the animal associated with the stimulation level, determining a compliant behavior of the animal and reducing the stimulation level to one of the plurality of levels between a current stimulation level and the minimum level dependent upon the determining step.

A method of altering a stimulation level of an animal behavior modification device including the steps of detecting compliant behavior of the animal and reducing a stimulation level an incremental amount between a current stimulation level and a minimum level dependent upon the detecting step.

An animal behavior modification apparatus including a stimulation device for applying a stimulation having a current stimulation level associated with one of a plurality of stimulation levels including a minimum level. The stimulation device including control logic for applying a stimulation, based upon the steps of increasing the current stimulation level; applying a stimulation corresponding to the current stimulation level; determining the behavior of the animal until compliant behavior is obtained; and reducing the current stimulation level between the current stimulation level and the minimum level dependant upon the determining step.

A method includes first using a first registration code obtained from purchasing a first toy, to access a website, and second using a second registration code obtained from purchasing a second toy, to access the website. The method further includes allowing, using a first computer, viewing of a first image of the first toy on the website and viewing a second image of the second toy on the website by a user, where the first toy and the second toy are each one of a plurality of different toy types, and where the first image is an image of a first specific toy type that is based on the first registration code, and where the second image is an image of a second specific toy type, different than the first specific toy type, that is based on said second registration code. Subsequent to the first using and the second using, selection of at least one friend is allowed on the website, and responsive to the selection of the at least one friend, the at least one friend is allowed to view the first and second images of the first and second toys on the website using a different computer.

A method provides a virtual presentation and includes, on a website, validating a registration code associated with a toy; responsive to said validating, providing a virtual replica of the toy on the website; and providing content that allows obtaining virtual currency on the website when at least one of the following occurs: the registration code is validated on the website, validating an additional registration code, visiting the website on a periodic basis, playing with the virtual replica of the toy on the website, and playing a game with another virtual replica of a different toy that is present on the website. The method also provides content that allows purchasing one or more virtual food items using the virtual currency; subsequent to said validating, providing content that allows feeding the virtual replica of the toy with the food purchased with the virtual currency; and displaying available virtual currency associated with the virtual replica of the toy.
