Abstract
A trailer hitch cover assembly for a hitch receiver including a main body operatively connected to a hitch tube and adapted to allow insertion of a hitch into the hitch tube. The trailer hitch cover assembly also includes an insulating member disposed between the main body and the hitch tube. The trailer hitch cover assembly further includes a cover plate hingedly connected to the main body and being movable between a closed position and an open position.

The trailer hitch receiver cover of the present invention has a resilient means for covering and sealing the peripheral collar or flange of the hitch receiver. It also has integrally-formed means for covering and sealing the lateral holes in the hitch receiver. In alternative embodiments, the lateral hole sealing means is accomplished by structure that is disposed either internally to the trailer hitch receiver or externally to it.

7559568 - Adaptor for coupling a drawbar of a tractor to a receiver hitch

The present invention is directed to an improved adaptor for easily and removably coupling a drawbar of a tractor or other vehicle to a standard receiver hitch and a method of using the improved adaptor. The adaptor of the invention includes an adaptor body configured to receive a section of the drawbar, a leg coupled to the adaptor body, the leg extending essentially perpendicular to the adaptor body and having an opening for receiving an end of the receiver hitch. The drawbar is couplable to the adaptor body and the leg is couplable to the end of the receiver hitch.
