A flexible light assembly is provided. The flexible light assembly is mountable with respect to the underside of the brim of the hat. The light assembly can be made of a flexible resilient material and be conformed to correspond to any configuration of brim. The light assembly 10 includes at least one light emitter, means for powering the light emitter, and means for controlling the emission of light. The light assembly can be completely positional under the brim of a hat. The light assembly can be removably associated with respect to a hat.
The LED cap light has a housing with an arcuate top surface. LED's on the housing front surface are disposed at intervals along a laterally extending arc. A power switch is on the housing bottom. A battery is inside the housing. Electronic circuitry in the housing is responsive to the power switch to select at least one central LED for illumination while the remaining LEDs are powered off, and to select the remaining LEDs for illumination while the at least one central LED is powered off, and to power off all LEDS. The at least one central LED is designed to emit a substantially monochromatic primary color. Two steel spring clips are attached to the housing and extend above the top surface of the housing. Spring clip surfaces contact the housing top surface to provide a resilient frictional force for attachment to a hat visor.
A clip type light is detachably attached to a cap visor so as to ensure the user's field of vision. Two clips are integrally formed with both sides of a front section of a lamp body such that the two clips can be fixedly coupled with a front section of the cap visor regardless of the curved configuration of the visor. The clip type light can be easily attached to or detached from the cap visor without causing damage to the visor, and a switch for operating an electric lamp and an ultrasonic wave generator is provided at a lower portion of the lamp body in such a manner that the user can easily activate the electric lamp and the ultrasonic wave generator while wearing the cap equipped with the clip type light. A solar cell may also be provided to power the lamp and wave generator.
