The present invention provides a portable telephone which comprises a microphone 22 for speech transmission, cameras 3, 30 arranged on a casing, and a control circuit 10. The control circuit 10 varies the sensitivity of the microphone 22 in accordance with a photographing direction of one camera being operated.
Disclosed is a mobile terminal having a main housing; a popup housing slidably movable on the main housing in a longitudinal direction to open or close an upper part of the main housing; and a lens housing connected to a rear of the main housing in such a manner that it can be pivoted around a rotating axis which is parallel to the sliding direction of the popup housing, the lens housing being opened or closed according to the sliding movement of the popup housing, and when the popup housing is moved up, the lens housing is capable of being pivoted around the rotating axis to expose a camera module facing in the same direction as a front side of the main housing. A picture may be taken through a through hole when the lens housing is closed by the popup housing. When the popup housing is moved up to expose the lens housing, the lens housing may be pivoted to take pictures in various directions.
In a mobile telephone including a camera 2a and a microphone 4 loaded in front, and a camera 2b on the back, the sensitivity of the microphone 4 is set at a normal level when the camera 2a is selected, and the sensitivity of the microphone 4 is enhanced when the camera 2b is selected so that the conventional problems can be solved. To attain this, an electronic apparatus such as a mobile telephone, a PHS, a PDA, etc. capable of capturing a moving picture and a still image is loaded with a camera and a microphone capable of easily and clearly collecting voice from all directions when a user who is taking a picture captures an image in front of the user, the user himself or herself, or a target in a different direction.
