A remote control system is constructed from a simple device configuration in which a device like a relay is not used. A higher degree of flexibility is provided to types of devices to be controlled which can be remotely controlled, and a control device which performs remote control. ABILITY information indicating the ability of an input operation function of the control device is transmitted from the control device to the device to be controlled. The device to be controlled creates conversion-into-remote-controller data on the basis of this ability information and transmits the data to the control device. Then, the control device creates a GUI by using the received conversion-into-remote-controller data. As a result, an electronic device serving as a control device can function as a remote controller which remotely controls a specific device to be controlled.
The present invention provides systems and methods for facilitating communications between various components of distributed system. Specifically, the systems and methods of the present invention provide a wireless network for linking the various components of manufacturing equipment or manufacturing systems to one or more central control devices. Each component of the manufacturing equipment and the central control devices include a wireless module for handling communications between the components and the control devices. In some embodiments, one or more of the components may act as a server for other components in the network. In some embodiments, multiple data channels are used for communication between the components and the central control devices.

In this regard, the device capabilities determination mechanism of the invention enables a remote device to specify a custom set of media capabilities that should be remoted from the host to the remote device.

Disclosed is a remote control instructions generating system which is installed at a portable phone having Bluetooth communication function to perform a remote controlling function of a computer, the system including: a detection value inputting unit for receiving a detection value that a user inputs using a keypad of the portable phone; a detection value storing unit for storing the detection value inputted through the detection value inputting unit and information on a time at which the detection value is inputted; and a detection value query processing module for transmitting the detection value and its corresponding time information stored in the detection value storing unit to the computer in case that the computer queries a detection value through Bluetooth communication.
