Abstract
A soft furnishing assembly and method for its construction. The assembly comprises an intermediate portion having opposed ends and at least one end portion connected to an end of the intermediate portion. The end portion is connected by a frangible portion wherein the end portion is movable between a first position in which the soft furnishing assembly is substantially flat and a second position in which the end portion angularly abuts an adjacent end of the intermediate portion and the frangible portion is broken.

The purpose of this window treatment insert is to block out light and to enhance the decor. The insert can be covered with different types of fabric for a decorative appearance. The window insert is made to fit arch windows. The window insert is made of foam. The window insert is made with several slits in the foam to decorate at your own preference. The insert is simple, no hardware, and no sewing, gluing, no raw edges. If needed you can cut insert to fit or squeeze to fit. The window insert is two-sided. On one side the insert has at least four even spaced slits at top that meet together at the bottom making a point. On other side of insert there are at least four even spaced slits that meet a half circle slit at bottom. The fabric is pushed firmly into insert slits to make decorative appearance.
