N-substituted derivatives of 5-oximinobarbituric add of the general formula ##STR00001## where X is sulfur; R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of saturated or unsaturated alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl and arylalkyl; and R.sub.2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, saturated or unsaturated alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl and arylalkyl possessing a biological activity.
