An inkjet recording method of forming an image on an inkjet recording sheet that has, on a support, a colorant-receiving layer which contains at least one inorganic mordant, by using an inkjet recording ink set that comprises, as minimum constituent elements thereof, a yellow ink which contains at least one yellow dye, a magenta ink which contains at least one magenta dye and a cyan ink which contains at least one cyan dye, wherein an oxidation potential of the magenta dye and an oxidation potential of the cyan dye are each nobler than 0.8 V (vs SCE).
An ink-jet recording method of recording an ink-jet recording ink containing at least a water-soluble dye and a resinous micro-particle dispersion on an ink-jet recording medium, comprising steps of providing a colorless ink on at least a part of the ink-jet recording medium by a liquid providing section separately installed from a recording section for the ink-jet recording ink, wherein the colorless ink contains at least a resin and is substantially colorless.
An ink composition is provided that includes (a) a polymerizable compound, (b) a polymerization initiator, (c) a coloring agent, and (d) a fragrance. There is also provided an inkjet recording method that includes a step of discharging the ink composition onto a recording medium, and a step of irradiating the discharged ink composition with radiation so as to cure the ink composition.
To provide a dye which has a good hue, which can form an image showing a high fastness under various using conditions and environmental conditions, and which is particularly suited for an ink, the dye is represents by formula (1):wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently represents a monovalent group, Z represents a nitrogen atom or a carbon atom to which a hydrogen atom or a monovalent group is bonded, and M represents a hydrogen atom or a cation, provided that the dye has two azo groups. ##STR00001##
An ink jet recording method that enables the recording of images which have a superior glossiness appropriate for production of photographic images, and which are especially superior in light fastness and ozone resistance. The image is formed on an ink jet recording medium by using an ink set, as the minimum constituent unit, having a yellow ink containing a yellow dye, a magenta ink containing a magenta dye, and a cyan ink containing a cyan dye, the magenta and cyan dyes having an oxidation potential of higher than 0.8 V (vs. SCE). The inkjet recording medium is heated and pressurized.
