Abstract
Abstract of CA2316098 A device for mounting in an environment or attaching to the body, (e.g. in t he form of a tie clip or the like) allows the user or wearer to experience a visual collaborative telepresence, with text, graphics, and a shared cursor, displayed directly o n real world objects. The device requires no skill to operate, and is self calibrating, such that it doesn't much matter where on the front of the body it is pinned or clipped. A direct user interface (e.g. a metaphor free user interface) allows a remote user, having zero computer skills, to operate the device.
