Abstract
A heavy-duty moving system including a sled, two sets of removable heavy-duty caster wheels (FIG. 1) and a lever arm assembly (FIG. 1A) for moving heavy equipment, for example, the "XEROX" copy machines of the 2400 series. The sled is slid under the machine (FIG. 3) and then raised at one end by the lever assembly (FIG. 4), one set of caster wheels then being laterally inserted and locked into the sled (FIG. 5). The opposite end of the sled is raised and the second set of caster wheels inserted and locked into the sled (FIG. 6). Upon lowering, the equipment is then ready for transportation (FIG. 7).

3889965 - Wheeled accessories for suitcases

A wheeled support applicable under each end portion of a suitcase for the manual propulsion of the same. The support is bound to the suitcase by buckle-coupled straps, which are slidable to preferably locate the buckles on top of the suitcase. Each support carries a wheeled unit which is slidably disposed and removable by the release of a latch.

3889966 - Wheeled accessory for suit cases

An accessory to make suitcases wheeled for manual propulsion. The base of an accessory unit -- one near each end of the suitcase -- is tied to the same by a strap which is adjustable by a buckle either on top or on the side of the suitcase. The bases receive slides underneath which carry the wheels, with latches to keep the slides in place. When these are unlatched and removed, the straps and bases remain with the suitcase; and the slides and wheels make a small package conveniently carried by the owner of the suitcase.

3881740 - Wheeled snowmobile storage pallet

A low silhouette horizontal pallet of generally T-shape in plan including a longitudinal main body portion and a transversely enlarged cross portion at one end of the body portion. The opposite ends of the pallet include slightly downwardly projecting supporting caster wheels and the pallet may be approached from the end thereof remote from the transversely enlarged crosshead portion by a snowmobile moving in a forward direction. The low silhouette of the pallet and the narrowness of the end thereof approached by the snowmobile enables that end to be received beneath the forward portion of the snowmobile body between the forward opposite side skis of the snowmobile and the front end of the center endless track of the snowmobile to engage and move at least partially up onto the terminal end of the snowmobile during its forward movement prior to the forward ends of the opposite side forward skis of the snowmobile contacting the opposite side portions of the crosshead portion of the pallet. Upon engagement of the snowmobile endless track assembly with the pallet the end thereof engaged by the endless track is rocked downwardly into engagement with the surface upon which the caster wheels of the pallet rest, the caster wheels at the downwardly inclined end of the pallet being spaced from the terminal end thereof so that contact of the terminal end of the pallet with the supporting surface may be made after only slight rocking of the pallet about the adjacent caster wheels. Contact of the pallet with the ground will of course frictionally retain the pallet in position and thus the snowmobile may be driven up onto the pallet without the engagement of the forward ends of the skis with the opposite side portions of the remote end of the pallet causing the latter to be pushed along forward of the associated snowmobile.

3918597 - Method of moving a heavy load - Owned by Lee Inventions, Inc. (New Orleans, LA)

A heavy duty moving system including a base sled having two sets of integral, drop-leaf, heavy duty caster wheels (Figure 1) and a lever arm assembly (Figure 6) for moving heavy equipment, for example, the "XEROX" copy machines of the 2400 series. The sled is slid under the machine (Figure 8) and then raised at one end by the lever arm assembly (Figure 9), after which one set of integral, drop-leaf caster wheels are lowered into position and locked. The opposite end of the sled is jacked up and the second set of integral, drop-leaf caster wheels are lowered and locked into position after which the lever arm assembly is removed. The machine then rests on the sled and its caster wheels and is ready for transportation. The machine is taken off the moving system in the opposite manner.

5524322 - Retaining device for casters and slides - Owned by Plako GmbH Thermoplastik Und Formenbau (Ennepetal,DE)

The retaining device is comprised of: a bracket adapted to be fastened to the side walls of the cabinet-like receptacle at the bottom thereof without the interposition of a bottom plate; and a plurality of plates, each of the plates having a receiving pin for receiving one of a caster and a slide and being embedded in the bracket.
