An on-off water valve which is adapted to be removably fixed to the end of a water faucet which comprises a valve housing, a valve seat extending across the valve housing and dividing said housing into an upper and lower portion, said valve seat provided with a centrally disposed aperture therein, a valve stem extending axially through the valve housing and provided with a valve head which is slidably received by said aperture in a water-tight manner, and a control arm disposed from the outside of the valve housing and extending through said housing and communicating with the base of the valve stem, said control arm being adapted to be moved axially with respect to the valve housing, the valve head being seated or unseated in the valve seat depending upon the direction of movement of said control arm.
A valve assembly for a faucet is operated by an actuation lever(s) normally positioned to be engaged by a container, for example, into which water is to be discharged from the faucet. For normal operation the lever(s) is moved in a self-return range of about 10 to 50 degrees. The lever(s) can also be swung further to a fully-on position so that the faucet can function in the normal manner by its valve system. The lever(s) operate a cam which acts on a cam follower presented by a valve stem. Responsive axial movement of the valve stem in opposition to spring pressure opens a valve.
A valve and connector assembly for interconnection with and rinsing of sewage hoses including sewage discharge hoses and connectors for Recreational Vehicles. The assembly comprises a connector for interconnection with a sewage hose having connectors compatible with a RV sewage discharge valve. The assembly has a garden hose connector to receive a garden hose hookup to direct water into the contaminated sewage hose for rinsing prior to storage of the sewage hose. A diffuser within the connector causes the water stream to spray thereby rinsing the sewage hose.
