A pair of bands (bands of both sides may be connected at bottom surface) are attached in inverted U-shape along both side surfaces (only one side will do if hand holding condition is not needed) of a large size bag and the like, and a cramping device of an upper portion of the inverted U-shape band is formed in a special adjusting mechanism according to this invention, and when the band is shifted in vertical and horizontal directions against these cramping devices and is fixed, the length and the interval of the shouldering band can be properly adjusted so as to match a physical constitution (height and size of shoulders) of user of bag. After the length and the interval are properly adjusted, there is no shift of band at all even if the band is pulled. Three embodiments of this invention, where the camping device of the band of this invention is attached to the bag as the part of the product, and where it is used as the band for shouldering small size carrying item, and where it is used as an implement for shouldering any luggage on his back will be described in the text of specification.
A backpack styled luggage item having an extendable handle and a pair of wheels. The shoulder straps of the backpack are tethered to the extendable handle such that extension of the handle lifts the shoulder straps up and against the luggage to allow safe transport on the wheels. In a further feature, a movable flap is provided to cover and pad the wheels while the luggage is carried.
A rolling travel case has a body having top and bottom sides, generally vertical front and back ends, and side faces. A plurality of horizontally spaced wheels on the bottom side allow the body to be rolled via the wheels on the ground. A handle is secured to outer ends of a pair of flexible leads each having an inner end secured at a respective rear location on the front end and an outer end secured at a respective front location on the handle. The rear locations are spaced from each other and the front locations are spaced from each other. The rear locations are horizontally spaced on the case. The case is generally symmetrical to a vertical symmetry plane and the rear locations normally symmetrically flank the plane.
A handle assembly comprises two handle pieces. Each handle piece comprises a left section having left and right ends and inside and outside faces, a right section having left and right ends and inside and outside faces, and a center section containing a notch. The center section connects the right end of the left section to the left end of the right section in a generally diagonal manner. The handle pieces are capable of interlocking such that the center section of each handle piece fits into the notch of the other handle piece, the inside face of the left section of one handle piece is situated against the inside face of the left section of the other handle piece, and the inside face of the right section of one handle piece is situated against the inside face of the right section of the other handle piece. The handle assembly can be incorporated into a bag comprising two handle straps, each handle strap being associated with a different handle piece.
A soft sided insulated cooler bag has a base and side panels. The base includes a rigid or semi-rigid reinforcement or batten that serve to provide a relatively hard or stiff edge about which the bag can be panel folded over on itself. The upper edge of the bag has a length that is as great as half the periphery of the bottom panel. The bag can be collapsed to a flat position and then panel folded to a storage position. Retainers are provided to keep the bag in the storage position. The bag has lifting apparatus, which may be strap. The straps may be anchored to the bag at a plurality of anchor points, some of which may be sliding keepers, such that the handle can be moved to a first position in which the bag may be held in a predominantly up-and-down orientation, and to a second position in which the bag may be held in a predominantly flat or horizontal position.
