Abstract
A soffit fascia system 1 comprising a horizontal soffit 2 and a vertical fascia 9 has secured thereto, by means of a fixing channel 7 that engages the edge 2a of the soffit 2, a member 6 having a decorative portion 8 which, when in position, depends from soffit 2. The end 9a of the fascia 9 extends below the soffit 2 and contacts the closed end 7a of the fixing channel 7 and the shoulder 20 of the member 6. The face of the fascia 9 and the decorative portion 8 lie in the same plane. The decorative portion 8 is provided with corresponding male 17 and female clip attachments on opposing ends which allow the decorative portions 8 to be secured one to another in a run by positive clipping action.

6782666 - Apparatus for covering exposed rafters

The present invention is an apparatus that provides both a protective and a decorative covering, or sleeving, for rafters. Generally, the apparatus is a U-shaped sleeve that has upper and lower horizontal flanges that run the entire longitudinal length of the member. The upper flange provides a means for securely attaching the invention to roofing materials such as roof sheathing, and together with the bottom flange forms an external channel that can be used to carry soffit material between the rafters. Furthermore, to complete the coverage and, therefore, the protection afforded the exposed rafter by the present invention, an endcap is attached to the outer end of the U-shaped sleeve member. Additionally, to further enhance the appearance of the building, the rafter sleeving is designed to easily and securely carry decorative trim and/or molding pieces.

6138418 - Soffit and fascia system - Owned by Arco Extrusion Corp. (Wlimington, DE)

A fascia board includes locking structure on an exposed surface for receiving complementary locking structure from an extruded soffit retainer which snaps into the locking structure of the fascia board. The retainer includes a leg for holding a soffit between the fascia board and the leg.

7093394 - ACM soffit clip assembly - Owned by Milwaukee Sign Co., L.L.C. (Grafton, WI)

A mounting clip is provided for enabling a snap fit attachment of an ACM fascia to an existing building fascia. The mounting clip includes at least one flexible arm integrally attached to a base portion so as to allow the flexible arm to move away from one of the fascia. At least one locking finger is integrally attached to the flexible arm by a hinge structure biasing the locking finger into snap fit attachment into a groove on one of the fascia.

7076923 - Simulated exposed roof rafter end

An exposed rafter end is simulated by a frame and complementary sleeve. The frame is attached to a building eave and the sleeve is inserted over the frame. In an alternative embodiment, the sleeve is inserted over an exposed rafter end. In yet another embodiment, the simulated exposed roof rafter end comprises an architectural design at a distal end and a cradle at a proximal end having a shape which is complementary to the profile of a conventional rain gutter to thereby cradle the rain gutter and provide support thereto. The simulated exposed roof rafter end can also comprise a solid member without a cradle for use without a rain gutter system.
