A light projection apparatus for projecting an illuminated line onto a surface which comprises a light source for emitting a light beam and a light beam deflection lens which is adapted to receive the emitted light beam and project a work light beam which will be visible as a straight line on the surface, the light deflection lens is configured so that the visible line on the surface is of generally equal illumination along its entire length. The light beam deflection lens preferably comprises an optical lens which is adapted to refract and reflect the emitted light beam.
A laser guiding device is adjustably connected to a support frame on a top of the tile cutting machine and includes a frame in which a laser generating piece is received. An adjusting screw threadedly and transversely extends through the frame and is rotatably connected between two side walls of the support member such that the laser generating piece is moved in the direction of the adjusting screw to generate a laser beam on the tile to be cut. The laser beam is visible regardless of the surface condition of the tile and the debris during cutting.
A laser projection device with multiple functions comprises a casing, a locating leg and two support legs associated with the lower end of the casing respectively, a transverse bar provided in the casing, a heavy weight pivotally engaging with the transverse bar, and a vertical laser line indicating module and a horizontal laser point indicating module fitting with the heavy weight respectively. The vertical laser line indicating module emits a vertical indicating line and the horizontal laser point indicating module emits indicating points. The vertical indicating line and the horizontal indicating line are orthogonal to each other, and the tip of the locating leg is right on a vertical plane of light and right under the horizontal indicating line.
An optical alignment system. In an embodiment, the system includes an optical emitting device for projecting an optical indicator onto a workpiece surface area. Further, a lateral arm may be coupled to the optical emitting device for supporting such device. In addition, a vertical support is constructed to receive the lateral arm allowing the lateral arm and optical emitting device to cantilever over the workpiece surface area. Moreover, a securing mechanism for securing the vertical support to the workpiece surface area such as a horizontal platform may be included. Additionally, at least one optical emitting device housing which substantially encloses the optical emitting device is present for operationally coupling the optical device to the lateral arm. The at least one optical emitting device housing is configured so that the optical emitting device may cantilever above the workpiece surface area and project a line-of-cut indicator onto the workpiece surface area.
An illumination system for projecting a line of light includes a linear array of diode lasers having a fast and a slow axis and an optical system aligned with the linear array and having different optical power in the fast and slow axes. The optical system is arranged to focus fast-axis diverging rays from the array in a fast axis focal plane of the optical system, and arranged to form slow axis diverging rays of the array into a plurality of bundles of parallel rays, one for each diode-laser, in the array. The bundles of parallel rays intersect in the fast-axis focal plane, such that light from the diode-lasers is formed into a line of light in the fast-axis focal plane. The line of light has a width in the fast axis and a length in the slow axis. The illuminator is useful as an illuminator for a linear spatial light modulator array.
A laser guiding device is adjustably connected to a protection member on a top surface of the tile cutting machine so as to produce a laser beam on a tile to be cut. An adjusting screw threadedly and transversely extends through the laser guiding device and the protection member such that the position of the laser generating piece of the laser guiding device can be adjusted. The laser beam is visible regardless of the surface condition of the tile. A first fence is pivotably connected to an open bottom of the protection member to cover the rotating blade. A second fence is pivotably connected to the protection member and is pivoted upward by the tile so as to pivot the first fence upward.
