Abstract
A printhead module for a printhead assembly is provided having at least two printhead integrated circuits, each of which has nozzles formed therein for delivering printing fluid onto the surface of print media, a support member supporting the printhead integrated circuits and at least two fluid distribution members individually mounting a respective one of the at least two printhead integrated circuits to the support member. The support member has at least one longitudinally extending channel for carrying the printing fluid for the printhead integrated circuits and includes a plurality of apertures extending from the at least one channel through a wall of the support member. Each of the fluid distribution members is formed as a laminated stack of layers for directing the printing fluid from the apertures of the support member to the nozzles of the associated printhead integrated circuit.

A printhead module for a printhead assembly is provided comprising at least two printhead integrated circuits, each of which has nozzles formed therein for delivering printing fluid onto the surface of print media, and a support member supporting the printhead integrated circuits. The support member has a plurality of longitudinally extending channels for carrying different printing fluids for the printhead integrated circuits, the support member, and therefore the number of channels provided, is selectable to meet specific requirements as to the number of said printing fluids to be employed for printing.

7156508 - Printhead module for printhead assembly - Owned by Silverbrook Research Pty Ltd (Balmain,AU)

A printhead module for a printhead assembly is provided as a unitary arrangement of a support member, at least two printhead integrated circuits, each of which has nozzles formed therein for delivering printing fluid onto the surface of print media, at least one fluid distribution member mounting the at least two printhead integrated circuits to the support member, and an electrical connector for connecting electrical signals to the at least two printhead integrated circuits. The support member has at least one longitudinally extending channel for carrying the printing fluid for the printhead integrated circuits, with a plurality of apertures extending through a wall thereof arranged so as to direct the printing fluid from the at least one channel to associated nozzles in the printhead integrated circuits.

7261401 - Inkjet printhead module having channeled ink distribution - Owned by Silverbrook Research Pty Ltd (Balmain, New South Wales,AU)

An inkjet printhead module is provided having an elongate support member longitudinally supporting a plurality of printhead integrated circuits via respective ink distribution members. The support member has a plurality of channels for carrying and delivering ink to inkjet nozzles of the printhead integrated circuits via a plurality of apertures. The ink distribution members each incorporate a laminated stack of layers for distributing the ink from the support member apertures to the respective printhead integrated circuit via distribution apertures of successively smaller diameter.

7399071 - Inkjet printer having ink distribution to printhead ICS - Owned by Silverbrook Research Pty Ltd (Balmain, New South Wales,AU)

An inkjet printer is provided having at least one printhead module removably mounted to a body of the printer. The printhead module has at least two printhead integrated circuits mounted to a support member via respective ink distribution members which distribute ink from the support member to inkjet nozzles of the printhead integrated circuits. The support member has at least one longitudinally extending channel for carrying the ink for the printhead integrated circuits and includes a plurality of apertures extending through a wall of the support member to direct the ink from the channel to the associated nozzles via the ink distribution members. Each ink distribution members incorporates a laminated stack of layers which have apertures for distributing the ink from the support member to the associated printhead integrated circuit, the apertures of each layer from the support member to the associated printhead integrated circuit being of successively smaller diameter.

7556360 - Inkjet printer having selectable ink distribution channels to printhead ICS - Owned by Silverbrook Research Pty Ltd (Balmain, New South Wales,AU)

An inkjet printer is provided having at least one printhead module removably mounted to a body of the printer. The printhead module has at least two printhead integrated circuits adhesively mounted to a support member via respective ink distribution members which distribute ink from the support member to inkjet nozzles of the printhead integrated circuits. The support member has a plurality of longitudinally extending channels for carrying different inks for the printhead integrated circuits, the support member being selectable to meet specific requirements as to the number of said inks to be employed for printing. Each of the ink distribution members incorporates a laminated stack of layers, each layer having apertures for distributing the ink from the support member to the associated printhead integrated circuit, the apertures of each layer from the support member to the associated printhead integrated circuit being of successively smaller diameter.
