A composition comprising a fragrance material consisting of an outer matrix containing components of the fragrance material and disposed within the outer matrix, discrete core particles containing the remaining components of the fragrance material. Components of the fragrance material within the core particles are preferably selected from highly volatile and/or water soluble materials, whereas components of the fragrance material within the outer matrix are preferably selected from relatively lo...
A polymeric encapsulated fragrance is disclosed which is suitable for use in personal care and cleaning products. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fragrance is encapsulated by a first polymer material to form a fragrance encapsulated polymer, the polymer encapsulated shell is then coated with a mixture of cationic polymers, in a preferred embodiment the coating polymers are a reaction product of polyamines (including 1H-imidazole) and (chloromethyl) oxirane or (bromomethyl) oxiran...
The instant invention discloses an enzyme-containing granule comprising: (a) a core granule comprising one or more enzyme particles; and (b) a water-soluble polymer coating therefor which substantially completely encapsulates said enzyme particles, wherein the polymer coating comprises a water-soluble or water-dispersible polyester resin, which comprises a reaction product of 20%-50% by weight of waste terephthalate polymer, 10-40% by weight of at least one glycol and 5-25% by weight of at least...
A process for stabilising particulate alkali metal percarbonate involves coating it with an aqueous solution, preferably concentrated, of a non-reducing oligomeric saccharide, preferably sucrose and especially together with an inorganic salt co-coating agent. The preferred co-coating agents are alkali metal silicate, sulphate, carbonate and carbonate chloride. Coated percarbonate is provided having an excellent combination of solubility, and stability, even with low amounts of coating agent.
The invention relates to a process for the production of single-phase or multiphase detergent shaped bodies containing surfactant(s), builder(s), perfume and optionally other typical ingredients of detergent shaped bodies, in which a perfume-free detergent shaped body is subsequently treated with a perfume or perfume-containing active-substance mixtures. The end products of this flexible process are distinguished by an improved odor impression.
The articles, compositions, and kits of the present invention are useful for conditioning fabric.
The invention concerns solid granulates of a system comprising at least a hydrophobic organic active substance (for example an active detergent substance) encapsulated in solid particles of an alkali-water soluble organic polymer derived by emulsion polymerisation, said particles being dispersed in and encapsulated by a matrix in a water soluble or water dispersible dry organic compound. The invention also concerns the use of said granulates in detergent compositions, in particular for cleaning ...
The invention concerns water dispersible granulates comprising at least a hydrophobic organic active substance (MA) solid or with melting point less than 100.degree. C., in the form of particles, finely divided inside and encapsulated by a solid matrix and a water soluble or water dispersible polypeptide (PP) synthetic or of plant origin and at least an ionic or amphoteric dispersing agent (D) at the active substance/matrix interface. The invention also concerns the method for preparing said gra...
A colored speckle composition for use in particulate laundry detergent compositions comprising a porous granular carrier and at least 0.01 wt % photobleach, preferably at least 0.05 wt %, more preferably at least 0.1 wt %, based on the active ingredient, the composition having an average bulk density of at most 600 g/l, preferably at most 500 g/l, most preferably at most 400 g/l. The carrier system reduces the staining tendency of the photobleach. The most preferred carrier is spray dried deterg...
A process for preparing a detergent particle having a coating layer of a water-soluble material is provided. The process comprises providing a particle core of a detergent active material and the particle core is then at least partially covered by a particle coating layer of a water soluble coating material including double salt combinations of alkali metal carbonates and sulfates that reduces the surface area of the particle.
