A 1,2-dioxetane derivative of the formula (I): ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 R.sup.3 and Ar are defined in the claims is provided.
Disclosed are a closed heat-decomposing appliance comprising a heating section with one side closed and other side having common ground portion, screw portion or O-ring-mounted portion and a closed introducing section that allows to connect to this heating section and common ground portion, screw portion or O-ring via O-ring-mounted portion and has cock or valve as a mechanism for closing and introducing the absorbing liquid to absorb the testing components from outside after heat-decomposition,...
A recombinant soluble human thyroid hormone receptor, comprising an extracellular domain moiety of a human thyroid hormone receptor, or a mutant thereof, being secretory, and having reactivity with an anti-human thyroid stimulating hormone receptor autoantibody; a composition for assaying an anti-human thyroid stimulating hormone receptor antibody, comprising the receptor and a carrier or diluent; a method for assaying an anti-human thyroid stimulating hormone receptor antibody, comprising react...
A novel poly(arylene ether sulfone) having a sulfoalkoxy group, which has both of heat resistance and electroconductivity, is suitable as polymer electrolyte membranes used for high performance polymer electrolyte fuel cells, and does not use fluorine so that loads to the environment are small in the synthesis or disposal, a process of producing the same, and a polymer electrolyte membrane comprising the same. The poly(arylene ether sulfone) having a sulfoalkoxy group has a structural unit repre...
A method for producing an optically active amino acid or derivative thereof having a high optical purity from an optically active amino acid comprising optical isomers or derivative thereof, which comprises any one of processes (A), (B), and (C), wherein the process (A) comprises the steps: (1) previously preparing an optically active amino acid or derivative thereof having an optical purity higher than a convergent value of a mutual solubility of the optical isomers and (2) crystallizing the op...
A phenyl ester is produced by allowing benzene, a carboxylic acid and molecular oxygen to react with each other in the presence of a catalyst comprising (A) palladium, (B) at least one element selected from elements of groups 13, 14, 15, and 16 and the fourth to sixth periods of the periodic table, and (C) at least one element selected from elements of groups 3, 4 and lanthanoid elements of the periodic table. Preferably, element (B) is selected from elements of group 16 and the fourth to sixth ...
Optically active fluorine-containing compounds of the formula (1): ##STR1## or of formula (2): ##STR2## are used for producing optically active 3,3,3-trfluoro-2-hydroxy-2-methylpropionic acids.
A combustion catalyst for removing organic compounds which includes a mixture of a zeolite and a metal oxide containing at least one of the elements of the platinum group. Another combustion catalyst for removing organic compounds which comprises an alumina having such a pore size distribution that, where "a" represents a pore radius in .ANG. at the maximum of the pore size distribution curve, the accumulated pore volume of pores having radii in the range of "a" .+-.25 .ANG. is at least 65% of t...
A novel fire-retardant polymer composition is provided which comprises 100 parts by weight of a polymer such as polyolefins and polystyrenes, 1-30 parts by weight of an oxide or a complex oxide of metals such as antimony, boron, and molybdenum, and 1-30 parts by weight of heat-expandable graphite. The fire-retardant polymer composition emits less amounts of smoke and corrosive gas on burning with the characteristics of the polymer material kept unimpaired.
The present invention intends to provide an IL-6R.cndot.IL-6 fusion protein and the like in which IL-6R and IL-6 are directly linked without a linker. The IL-6 receptor.cndot.IL-6 fusion protein of the present invention has a structure in which one amino acid residue constituting IL-6 receptor and one amino acid residue constituting IL-6 are directly bonded.
