
A process for the preparation of a photosensitive body surface coating material comprises hydrolytically condensing an alkoxysilane in a mixed solvent comprising an alcohol and water in the presence of finely divided silica. A polysiloxane resin is produced by heat curing the silane after its hydrolytic condensation.
