A cathode ray tube is described having a high brightness, high resolution cathodoluminescence screen which exhibits a low noise level. Two discrete phosphor layers are provided on the interior of the tube faceplate. A thin electrophoretically deposited first phosphor layer of very finely divided phosphor is disposed upon the interior surface of the tube faceplate. A second gravity settle phosphor layer is disposed over the first phosphor layer.
A cathode-ray tube has a phosphor screen which is made by using a mixture of a long persistent phosphor and a short persistent phosphor. A light emission from the short persistent phosphor has a spike figure, so that a light pen can have sufficient sensitivity therefor, and a light emission from the long persistent phosphor is continuous within the one cycle period of the frame frequency, so that flicker is not noticeable.
An electron image storage tube is provided with a bistable storage target employing a transparent faceplate on the inside surface of which there is provided a transparent coating of conductive material. A layer of storage dielectric phosphor is disposed onto the coating of conductive material and an array of conductive fluorescent dots in electrical connection with the conductive coating extends through the layer of storage phosphor and beyond the outer surface of the storage phosphor. The condu...
A dual phosphor screen is deposited on the inside surface of the faceplate f a CRT. A photo electroluminescent panel made up of a layer of photoconductive material and a layer of electroluminescent material is placed on the outside surface of the CRT. A voltage is applied across the panel so that when ultraviolet energy illuminates the photoconductive material, the voltage change across the panel causes the electroluminescent material to be visible.
In cathode-ray tubes utilising screens with a luminescent layer made up of two kinds of phosphors having different spectra, one having virtually no remanence (1), and the other being of remanent kind (2), with switching of the voltage between two values, low and high, the second phosphor only being excited at the high value, due to the presence of a barrier B, in order to prevent the unwanted flash of different colour, produced by the non-remanent phosphor at the instant of appearance of the rem...
This invention provides certain furanone derivatives, their pharmaceutical formulations, and their use in a method for treating inflammation, asthma, or allergies.
The components parts of a putter are weighted and assembled to form a putter in which the vertical center of mass lies within the horizontal length of a preferred striking surface on the face of the putter. Vertically mass balanced putters with flat bottom surfaces stand alone on the green without external support, permitting the golfer to view the geometric relationship of ball, cup, putter and topography of the green from various distances and perspectives. Distribution of mass of the putter e...
In a color picture tube having a phosphor screen with three kinds, i.e., red, blue and green phosphor dots or phosphor strips, the red phosphor dots or strips are formed by employing europium-activated yttrium oxide (Y.sub.2 O.sub.3 :Eu) phosphor powder, each particle of which powder is coated with thin layer of europium-activated oxysulfide (Y.sub.2 O.sub.2 S:Eu) phosphor. By means of such thin coating of the oxysulfide phosphor, the conventional adverse active characteristic of Y.sub.2 O.sub.3...
The present invention relates to the side chain functionalization of fimbrolides (halogenated 3-alkyl-5-methylene-2(5H)-furanones) and their synthetic analogues, that yields fimbrolides substituted with a halogen, an oxygen or a nitrogen functionality in the alkyl chain, especially fimbrolide alcohols, carboxylate and sulfinate and sulfonate esters, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, acids, amides, nitro derivatives, hydrophobic, hydrophilic and fluorophilic alkyl derivatives and a polymers.
The present invention relates to obtain novel FT-0554A substance useful for infectious disease of parasite, especially helminth and more particularly relates to the novel FT-0554A substance represented by the following formula [I] ##STR1## or the tautomer thereof represented by the formula [II] ##STR2## obtained by treating FT-0554 substance represented by the formula [II] ##STR3## under alkaline condition.
