The composition for the treatment of poultry litters comprises at least an edible surfactant emulsifying agent, for example an ethoxylate obtained from castor oil. It may also be combined with a mixture of cresols, guaiacol and resorcinol. This composition can be sprayed in liquid form on the litter so as to reduce the effects of coccidiose.
A composition designed for improving the digestibility of feed for ruminants contains as active ingredient an aromatic phenol derivative selected from cresols and benzenediols, as well as an absorbing support and an aromatizing mixture.
This invention pertains to a composition of additives for animal feed which includes a solution of volatile and/or irritating products in a liquid coagulating agent which is adsorbed on a vegetable and/or mineral carrier in particles. This carrier is, at least partially, coated with coagulated protein particles bound to this same carrier in order to diminish the free contact area of the carrier. The additive composition can be advantageously blended with premixes or with animal feed.
A sealing device includes a top part forming a bell and a bottom part forming a vat, receiving a container to be sealed with a film in the chamber defined by the top and bottom parts. The top part includes on a side supplying the film, a slot for the passage of the film running through a wall of the top part, and a device, preferably an inflatable pipe, for obstructing the slot and blocking the film. The wall of the top part also includes a device for inserting and/or extracting fluid, opening i...
Dry-mounted construction elements, each of the type constituted by a bottomless container comprising vertical partitions, a first vertical partition, parallel to the front wall of the container, delimiting a large front space (5), which serves as a flower pot and at least one rear space (6) which serves as a root cavity for the upper container and which is offset rearwardly from the lower container, this latter space (6) being divided in at least two smaller spaces (7, 8) by a second vertical pa...
A filling and sealing device includes an upper part forming a bell and a lower part forming a bowl, receiving a container to be sealed with a film in the chamber defined by the two parts. The upper part has a wall, on the side supplying the sealing film, inserting and filling elements emerging inside the chamber between the sealing film and the lower edge of the wall for inserting products into the chamber and for filling the container therein. Preferably, the upper part also includes above the ...
A process is disclosed to be useful in reducing the anorexia induced by the weaning of piglets and in improving their growth rate in early life.
A slingshot type spear gun for underwater fishing comprises a rod, a guide for an arrow at the forward end of the rod, and a pistol grip trigger mechanism at the rear end of the rod. A sleeve slidably mounted on the rod has one end of the rubber bands used for propelling the arrow fastened thereto, one pair of cross bars extending sidewise, and a mechanism for automatically releasably locking the sleeve to the rod. In order to cock the gun, the sleeve is pulled backwardly along the rod to a posi...
A retaining wall, wherein the lower edges of vertical walls (8) within a shell (3) are fitted with at least one coupling tab interacting with the plane upper vertical edges of the adjacent underlying shell. The vertical walls (6, 7) having any shape are also provided with at least one coupling tab. The transverse vertical wall (7) between the two building elements forming the double building element comprises a breakable portion (13) such that a decorative facing (14) is exposed on its outer sur...
A sheath is provided with a stationary deflector disposed on the path of the slider so that contact between the slider and the deflector causes the slider to be inclined and consequently causes the needle to be inclined inside the sheath. A return mechanism is provided so as to push the inclined slider back in the opposite direction so that the point of the inclined need is prevented from moving. This disposition ensures that the needle cannot escape from the sheath after it has been used.
