The present invention relates to a process for preparing a polyetherol which comprises reacting at least one alkylene oxide with at least one starter compound in the presence of a catalyst of the formula I: M.sup.1.sub.p[M.sup.2.sub.qO.sub.n(OH).sub.2(3-n)].sub.x, (I) and to the polyetherols prepared by such a process and to their use for the synthesis of polyurethanes, as fuel additive or as surfactant.
The present invention relates to a process for reacting epoxides with an initiator compound in the presence of a double metal cyanide compound as a catalyst, said process having a shortened induction period, and the double metal cyanide compound being activated by adding the epoxide to a mixture of double metal cyanide compound and initiator compound at an internal reactor pressure of less than 1 bar, and also to the polyethers themselves obtainable by such a process.
The present invention relates to a process for the alkoxylation of a monool with at least one alkoxylating agent to an alkoxylated alcohol wherein a catalyst is employed which comprises a metallo-organic framework material of metal ions and at least bidentate coordinately bound organic ligands.
A process for preparing an organometallic framework material comprising reacting at least one metal salt with at least one at least bidentate compound capable of coordination to the metal ion of said metal salt, in the presence of an aqueous solvent system and at least one base wherein at least one bidentate compound comprises at least carboxy group and at least one further group which is not a carboxy group and which is capable of forming a hydrogen bridge linkage.
The invention relates to a method of reducing the inhalation toxicity of functional fluids by incorporating into a functional fluid an effective amount of copolymer which is obtainable by copolymerizing etheylene oxide, propylene oxide and/or butylenes oxide with an initiator monool or diol, said copolymer having a degree of unsaturation of less than about 0.01 meq/g.
The present invention relates to polyethers which are obtainable from 1 -butene oxide and an alcohol using a double metal cyanide compound as a catalyst and have a content of unsaturated components of 6 mol% or more, to a process for preparing such a polyether and also to the use of a polyether according to the invention as a carrier oil or in a carrier oil formulation, in particular in additive packages for gasoline fuels, and furthermore also to carrier oil formulations and also to fuels compr...
The present invention relates to a process for preparing at least one alkoxylate, which comprises bringing at least one alkylene oxide selected from the group consisting of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, butylene oxide, pentylene oxide and decene oxide into contact with at least one starter compound in the presence of at least one double metal cyanide compound, with the reaction being carried out at a temperature of from 130.degree. C. to 155.degree. C., to the alkoxylates, in particular ethox...
The present invention relates to compositions at least comprising one alkoxylate of the formula RO(A).sub.n(B).sub.mH, to processes for the preparation of such compositions, in particular in the presence of double-metal cyanide compounds as catalyst, and their use as emulsifier, foam regulator or as wetting agents for hard surfaces. Moreover, the present invention also relates to the use of such compositions in detergents and surfactant formulations.
The present invention relates to a process for the alkoxylation of organic compounds comprising the reaction of at least one organic compound with at least one alkoxylating agent in the presence of a catalyst system, wherein a polyether alcohol is obtained. The catalyst system comprises a metallo organic framework mate-rial comprising pores and at least one metal ion and at least one at least bidentate organic compound, which is coordinately bounded to said metal ion. Furthermore it relates to p...
