A slant plate-type variable displacement compressor includes a housing enclosing a crank chamber, a suction chamber, and a discharge chamber. The housing includes a cylinder block, and cylinder bores are formed therein. Pistons are slidably disposed within the cylinder bores. A valve member is disposed in a first passage, which communicates between a discharge side of the cylinder bore and the crank chamber. The valve member is controlled by a suction pressure of the cylinder bore. A second pass...
Polyaddition polymers comprising the reaction products of bis-epoxy compounds with poly-N-substituted polyamines or poly-N-substituted polyalkylene imines, wherein said poly-N-substituted polyamines and said polyalkylene imines contain at least two active hydrogens, and which polyamines and polyalkylene imines contain alkali metal salts or alkyl ester groups of carboxyalkyl groups or cyanoalkyl groups which are substituents on the nitrogen atoms of said polyamines of polyalkylene imines. The pol...
Novel 2,4-pentadienoic acid derivatives are disclosed. As the examples are mentioned 3-(4-carboxy-trans, trans-1,3-butadienyl)-6-exo-(3.alpha.-hydroxy-trans-1-octenyl)-7-endo-hydr oxybicyclo[3.3.0]oct-2-ene, 3-(5-carboxy-trans, trans-2,4-pentadienyl)-6-exo-(3.alpha.-hydroxy-trans-1-octenyl)-7-endo-hyd roxybicyclo[3.3.0]oct-2-ene and the like. These compounds are useful as a platelet aggregation inhibitor, especially as a thrombosis-prophylactic agent.
A process for producing a spherical chelating resin is disclosed. In the production, a prepolymer is prepared in the absence or presence of a solvent by subjecting a poly-N-substituted polyamine having at least two residual active hydrogen atoms bonded to nitrogen atoms or a poly-N-substituted polyalkylene imine having at least two residual active hydrogen atoms bonded to nitrogen atoms to a poly-addition reaction with an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups. The prepolymer is cured b...
Novel amide derivatives are disclosed. As examples of said amide derivatives are mentioned 1-[2-(5-(3-methoxy-4-benzyloxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienoyl)aminoethyl]-4-diphe nylmethoxypiperidine, 1-[2-(5-(3-methoxy-4-pentadienoyl)aminoethyl]-4-diphenylmethoxypiperidine and 1-[2-(5-(3-methoxy-4-ethoxymethoxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienoyl)aminoethyl]-4-d iphenylmethoxypiperidine. These amide derivatives are useful as antiallergic agents.
Novel amide derivatives are disclosed. As examples of said amide derivatives are mentioned 1-[2-[5-(3-methoxy-4-ethoxycarbonyloxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienoyl]-aminoethyl ]-4-benzhydroxypiperidine, 1-[2-[3-(3-methoxy-4-ethoxycarbonyloxyphenyl)-2-propenoyl]-4-benzhydroxypi peridine, 1-[3-[-(3-methoxy-4-ethoxycarbonyloxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienoyl]aminopropyl] -4-benzhydrylpiperazine and the like. These amide derivatives are useful as antiallergic agents.
A method for producing a 3-hydroxy nitrogen-containing six-membered cyclic compound is provided. Namely, microbial cells of a microorganism and/or a preparation obtained from the microbial cells is allowed to act on a nicotinic acid derivative or a 2-pyrazinecarboxylic acid derivative represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be the same or different, representing hydrogen atom, halogen atom, hydroxyl group, amino group, carboxyl group, cyano group, o...
An aluminum heat exchanger is made from flat aluminum tubes formed with side edge projections having engaging surfaces and coated with brazing material on the outside surface but not on the inside surface of the tube or the projections. The opposite ends of the tubes are inserted into flat tube insertion holes in opposed header tanks which have a brazing material coated on the peripheral surface of the tank, so that, during brazing of the assembled heat exchanger components, brazing material flo...
An object of the present invention is to provide a separation functional material having more excellent adsorptive separation performance than previously. In order to attain this object, separation functional materials of the present invention are characterized in that they are formed by introducing a polymer side chain derived from a p-haloalkylstyrene onto the backbone of an organic polymer base and introducing a functional group onto the polymer side chain.
An object of the present invention is to provide a heavy metal ion scavenger having more excellent scavenging performance than previously. In order to attain this object, organic polymer materials of the present invention are characterized in that they have a polymer side chain derived from a haloalkyl-substituted styrene on the backbone of an organic polymer base and a functional group capable of forming a complex with a heavy metal ion has been introduced onto said polymer side chain. These or...
