A method of lining a drilled bore comprises running a tubular into a drilled bore and then corrugating the tubular in the bore. The tubular may also be expanded in the bore. In other aspects of the invention the tubular is corrugated prior to running into the bore and may be rotated as it is run into the bore.
A molded article (10) made predominantly of pulp and comprising a bottom portion (13) and a body portion (12), wherein the angle .theta. between the outer surface of a side wall of the body portion (12) and the ground contact plane (B) of the bottom portion (13) is 85.degree. or greater, and the height of the body portion (12) is 50 mm or more.
The malleable ragglestick 100 as shown in FIG. 1 comprises a plastic tube 110 of FIG. 2 having a circular axial cross-section as shown in FIG. 3 and having two (2) opposing sets of a multiplicity of cylindrically shaped depressions 130 as shown in FIG. 4, generally spaced apart.
A process is disclosed for the preparation of formed Group IVB metal oxide compositions suitable for use as catalyst supports which comprises: A) preparing a paste comprising (i) one or more calcined Group IVB metal oxides, (ii) at least one solvent and (iii) at least one acid; B) forming a shaped particle from said paste; and C) drying and calcining said shaped particle. Also disclosed are formed compositions prepared by the foregoing process and catalysts where the formed compositions incorpor...
A heavy duty wire-formed pallet is provided which is light in weight, but yet which is rugged in its construction. The pallet of the invention may be stacked with other like pallets to be stored in a minimum of space when not in use. The pallet is constructed to be capable of supporting heavy loads without sagging or damage. The structure incorporates a pair of side rails formed of metal strips, and which are supported at the ends of appropriate pedestals, to constitute a stable, wide-tread supp...
A modular printed circuit board cardcage of formed wire card guide and retainer members fastened to transverse support rods within a semi-enclosure structure. Cardcage modules of different sizes and shapes are configured to accommodate various printed circuit board size and quantity requirements. Each printed circuit board is securely mounted to withstand shock and vibration forces but is readily accessible and removable for maintenance in a modular cardcage structure with optiminally high print...
An end portion of a first tubular member is inserted within the end portion of a second tubular member and a die means is disposed in surrounding relation to said second tubular member. Explosive means is disposed adjacent to said die means, and the components are confined within a closed chamber. Detonation of explosive means moves the die means along the second tubular member to cold-forge the second tubular member to the first tubular member.
A turbidimeter utilizing a low cost flow chamber made from tubing and including a necked down portion having a plurality of flat sides for facilitating mounting of various sensing components and including a novel consturction for automatically compensating for color in low turbidity applications.
The embodiment of the invention disclosed herein is directed to a carrier package comprising a plurality of containers and a sheet of plastic material having at least a pair of oppositely arranged elongated sockets formed therein. The sheet plastic material is rectangular in configuration and has a major dimension and a minor dimension which are approximately one half the major dimension. The sockets formed therein are each formed by spaced apart circular portions joined together by straight lin...
Formed fuel briquets of reduced reactivity are prepared with the use of a binder contributing little, if any, green strength. The fuel is suitable for such purposes as industrial and metallurgical applications and for domestic heating. Briquets possessing high green strength, and high shatter and compressive strength in the cured state, are produced even while employing a rapid compacting operation, such as roll briquetting. Carbon aggregate, of controlled particle sizing, and preferably of a sp...
