A bogie is attached to a three point hitch of a tractor and serves to control the up and down movement of a scraper blade. The bogie comprises an articulated frame having a pair of spaced side rails each connected to a separate lower link of the hitch. An intermediate arm is supported by the side rails and has means for connection to the upper link of the hitch. A castor is mounted for swivelling in a wheel housing and is raised and lowered by means of an hydraulic actuator.
A forming leveller establishes one or more datum or reference planes in variable thickness stock to facilitate subsequent roll forming. The reference planes may be established on the same side or opposite sides of the stock with a lateral gap to facilitate transition forming. The leveller includes top and bottom closely spaced roll sets forming multiple passes mounted on bottom and top frames, respectively, with floating rolls being opposed to fixed rolls. Back-up rolls are provided for the floa...
A roller leveller has an upper roller assembly 1 made of a plurality of taper rollers 7 each having a small diameter end with a collar 14 and a large diameter end, with the large diameter ends being set on a same side, and a lower assembly 2 made of a plurality of taper rollers 8 each having a small diameter end with a collar 15 and a large diameter end, with the large diameter ends being disposed on opposite sides of the large diameter ends of the taper rollers 7. The center axes of the upper a...
A ladder leveller for mounting onto at least one stile of a hollow runged ladder includes an elongate stile extension member, a cross bar sized for mounting journalled through a hollow rung of the ladder. A locking pin extends from the cross bar, through one of an array of apertures in the extension member and cooperates with a locking bar. The locking bar is releasably mounted onto the locking pin to lock the stile extension member onto the stile.
A roller leveller, in particular, for beams with a large web depth, includes a carrier shaft on which lower levelling rollers are mounted in a cantilever fashion and which is arranged in a bearing housing with a possibility of dual axial displacement. The bearing housing rests on lifting elements and is displaceable up and down in vertical guides of a horizontally displaceable carrier slide. The bearing housing is pivotably arranged about an inclination adjustment axis that extends transverse to...
A ladder leveller includes an adjustable base having two adaptors suitable for receiving the ladder feet and a pair of telescopic legs respectively fixed under the two adaptors, wherein both the telescopic legs can be optionally adjusted their heights to allow the base and the ladder feet riding on the base horizontally standing on a rugged floor surface in a stable way.
A horizontal solder leveller for applying solder to a board comprises: means 15.sub.u,15.sub.1, 16.sub.u ; 16.sub.1 ; 17.sub.u,17.sub.1 including a solder bath 1 for applying molten solder 2 to a board. means 47 for levelling solder applied to the board, including nozzles for directing solder-levelling air jets at the board, and means 19.sub.u,19.sub.1,48 for creating a dispersion of oil in an air stream from the levelling means, the oil dispersion means being provided between the solder applyin...
A roll leveller having a frame, a plurality of parallel lower rolls rotatably mounted on the frame and positioned side by side in the direction in which a material to be levelled is fed, a bracket having a plurality of parallel upper rolls rotatably mounted thereon in spaced opposed relationship to the rolls on the frame, an adjustable stop mounted thereon in spaced opposed relationship to the rolls on the frame, an adjustable stop mounted on one end of the frame for movement toward and away fro...
Governor devices are described for use on multi-engine plants, some of whose engines experience periodic torque variations, which act upon the torque regulator of at least one of the engines to maintain a steady torque and speed of the common final power output shaft of the plant.
A solder leveller for tinning exposed metal on printed circuit boards comprises a solder bath and paired rollers therein for carrying a board in a curvilinear path downwardly into, through and upwardly out of the bath. At least one pair of rollers having a board engaging nip within the bath is driven. The bath includes means for providing a solder-oxidation inhibiting oil over the solder.
