This invention relates to a diboron derivative of formula (I) or a diboron derivative of formula (II) or a diboron derivative of formula (III) where R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each independently selected from the group consisting of optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkenyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkenyl, a group of the formula --(R.sup.5 Q).sub.m R.sup.6 where Q is selected from O, S, NR.sup....
A process for the preparation of a diboronic acid ester comprising contacting diboronic acid with a suitable monoalcohol, diol or polyol, for a time and under conditions such that the diboronic acid reacts with the monoalcohol, diol or polyol to form the diboronic acid ester.
The present invention provides stable compounds prepared from boronic acid and lyophilized compounds thereof of the formula (1): ##STR1## in which Z.sup.1 and Z.sup.2 are moieties derived from sugar. The invention also provides methods for preparing such compounds. Lyophilizing a mixture comprising a boronic acid compound and a moiety derived from sugar produces a stable composition that readily releases the boronic acid compound upon reconstitution in aqueous media.
Disclosed herein is a method for reducing the rate of degradation of proteins in an animal comprising contacting cells of the animal with certain boronic ester and acid compounds. Also disclosed herein are novel boronic ester and acid compounds, their synthesis and uses.
The invention provides novel labelled boronic acid conjugates of formula ##STR1## (wherein V is a reporter moiety; W.sup.2 is a bond or an organic linker moiety; W.sup.1 is a *SO.sub.2 NR.sup.2, *CONR.sup.2 or *CH.sub.2 N.sup..sym. R.sup.2.sub.2 group bound at the *-marked atom to the phenyl ring; R.sup.1 is hydrogen or an electron withdrawing substituent group; and each R.sup.2 independently is hydrogen or an optionally hydroxylated and optionally C.sub.1-6 -alkoxylated C.sub.1-6 -alkyl group) ...
Boronic dyes corresponding to the formula ##STR1## wherein D is an organic dye moiety, and n is 1 or 2 are described. Inks which are formulated for ink-jet printing and contain such a dye provide excellent images when printed on paper.
An improved process for preparation of compounds of the formula ##STR1## as disclosed. These compounds are useful as intermediates in the preparation of boronic acid adducts of technetium 99m dioxime complexes of the formula which are useful as imaging agents.
The invention provides novel labelled boronic acid conjugates of formula ##STR1## (wherein V is a reporter moiety; W.sup.2 is a bond or an organic linker moiety; W.sup.1 is a *SO.sub.2 NR.sup.2, *CON.sup.2 or *CH.sub.2 N.sym.R.sup.2 .sub.2 group bound at the *-marked atom to the phenyl ring; R.sup.1 is hydrogen or an electron withdrawing substituent group; and each R.sup.2 independently is hydrogen or an optionally hydroxylated and optionally C.sub.1-6 -alkoxylated C.sub.1-6 -alkyl group) and sa...
The invention relates to the formulation of pharmaceutical compounds. More particularly, the invention provides stable, pharmaceutically acceptable compositions prepared from boronic acid compounds and methods for preparing the compositions. The invention also provides novel boronate ester compounds. The invention further provides boronic acid anhydride compounds useful in the methods of the invention.
