Triazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidine compounds of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 through R.sup.4 and X are as defined in the specification are provided, together with compositions containing them, a process for their preparation and methods of use. The compounds are useful in the treatment of platelet aggregation disorders and angina.
