Certain C-substituted trisulfonic acids, acid ureides, oxalyl amides and salts thereof useful as complement inhibitors.
Compounds for use as orally active anaphylactic inhibitors are disclosed. The compounds are trans-2,3b,4,5,7,8b,9,10-octahydronaphto [1,2-c:5,6-c'] dipyrazoles which may be substituted in both of the pyrazole rings. Also disclosed are intermediate compounds which are the corresponding trans-2,6-bis (hydroxymethylene) decalin-1,5-diones.

Novel procidins effective for healing or preventing ulcers are produced and accumulated in the cultured product of a novel strain Streptomyces procidinanus.
Compositions comprising (a) diethylenetriaminopenta(methylenephosphonic acid) or an alkali metal salt thereof and (b) aminotri(methylenephosphonic acid) or an alkali metal salt thereof wherein the amount of (b) is from 5 to 70% of the total weight of (a) and (b) are effective stabilizers against precipitation and scaling of alkaline solutions containing potentially scale-forming components.
A double base propellant charge is primed with a dimethyl siloxane resin before application of a silicone elastomer inhibitor to the primed surface. There may be a barrier coating, preferably of a polyvinyl acetal resin, between the double base material and the primer.
This invention relates to a composition comprising (1) an alkenyl or alkyl succinic acid or the anhydride thereof; and (2) a triester of about 3 moles of an alkenyl or alkyl succinic acid or the anhydride thereof and about 1 mole of a trialkanolamine; and to the use thereof as a corrosion inhibitor.
This invention is directed to compounds of the formula: ##STR1## or an optical isomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein: n is 0, 1 or 2; p and q are independently 0, 1 or 2 and the sum of (p+q) is less than or equal to 3; X is selected from the group consisting of: halo; --OR.sup.2, --SR.sup.2, --S(O)R.sup.2, --S(O).sub.2 R.sup.2, and --S(O).sub.2 NHR.sup.2, wherein R.sup.2 is lower alkyl, mono-, di- or tri-fluoro alkyl of 2 or 3 carbon atoms, optionally substituted...
The Diels-Alder adduct of 2,3 and 6,7 poly(alloocimene) and an activated olefin such as maleic anhydride serves to inhibit the corrosion of metals. The adduct or a derived polyamine reaction product in admixture with an oil such as a petroleum oil or grease is effective to inhibit rusting of ferrous metals.
An inhibitor of angiogenin and method of use of the inhibitor, wherein the inhibitor inhibits the angiogenic activity of angiogenin. The inhibitor is dispensed at a suitable concentration within a physiologically compatable medium, suitable for administration to an animal in sufficient quantity to inhibit the biological activity of naturally occurring angiogenin within the animal.
