A wheelchair ramp assembly (20) is disclosed. The wheelchair ramp assembly includes a frame attachable to a vehicle having a floor, a platform coupled to a portion of the frame, a ramp having a weight, and a reciprocating mechanism disposed between the ramp and the platform coupled to a portion of the frame, a ramp having a weight, and a reciprocating mechanism disposed between the ramp and the platform for reciprocating the ramp between a deployed position and a stowed position in response to a...
A lock-out mechanism for use with a dispenser having a back plate and a cover hingedly attached thereto for receipt of a refill container with an attached pump. The cover carries a pressure member in the form of a push bar having a pump activating projection which normally activates the pump by engaging a collapsible portion thereof when the push bar is activated and the refill cartridge and pump are properly seated within the dispenser. The push bar also carries an interference rib on the push ...
A stub-out bar has a first bar telescopically and slidably receiving a second bar. Holes and slots are formed on the first bar and the second bar, respectively. While attaching a fixture on the stub-out bar, one of the holes is aligned with one slot to allow a fastener to thread through. The first and the second bars each has a bendable tab extending from a front plate thereof. The bendable tabs are positioned at two opposite ends of the stub-out bar such that the stub-out bar can be mounted in ...
A motorized pull-out device for a tall cupboard and including a motor for pulling out the pull-out rail connected with the pull-out section of the tall cupboard and for driving the pull-out rail in a switch for actuating the motor, and an arrangement for actuating the switch and including a light reflector for reflecting the light emitted by the light source onto the light receiver and associated with the pull-out section of the tall cupboard, and an actuation member for displacing the light ref...
A dry out mechanism for controlling a humidifier is disclosed. The mechanism includes a float and a switch. The float contacts the switch when the float is within an operating range. The movement of the float can be manually changed between settings to achieve normal operation or dry out operation of the humidifier. In the normal operation, the float activates the switch based on the fluid level within the humidifer's reservoir. In the dry out setting, the float activates the switch independent ...
A sheet take-out apparatus has a stacker that houses sheets in the stacked state, a take-out roller for taking out sheets by rotating in contact with a sheet at one end in the stacking direction of housed sheets, and sensors for detecting a contact pressure of the take-out roller to sheets. A controller monitors a contact pressure of the take-out roller to sheets, energizes a motor so as to adjust a contact pressure to a proper value and moves the take-out roller in the stacking direction.
A floor assembly for a cargo space of an automotive vehicle includes a floor support adapted to be mounted in the cargo space. A floor panel is mounted on the floor support for movement along a predetermined path of travel from a first position totally within the cargo space to an extended position at least partially outside the vehicle. Locking mechanism releasably locks the floor panel in the desired position. The locking mechanism may also be capable of locking the floor panel in several inte...
A slide assembly is provided to couple a slide-out component disposed in an opening of a vehicle body to the vehicle body. The slide assembly includes a complementary contoured guide member, roller(s), and a support member, all generally enclosed by a mountable housing. The support member and roller(s) are coupled to roll along the guide member. In a particular embodiment, rollers are mounted in pairs on the top and bottom sides of the guide member. Due to the complementary contours of the rolle...
The disclosure is directed to precise measurement of out-of-plane birefringence properties of samples of transparent optical material. Two angled-apart light beams are passed through a selected location of a sample optical element. One of the beams is incident to the sample surface. The characteristics of the beams are detected after passing through the sample, and the information detected is processed to determine the out-of-plane birefringence.
The unbalance measuring device comprises a spindle unit (7) with a spindle holder (29) and with a spindle (11) mounted on the spindle holder (29) rotatably about an axis of rotation (9) and carrying at one of its two ends a coupling for fastening the article to be measured. The spindle unit (7) is combined together with an electric motor (5) for driving the spindle (11) into a first preassembled subassembly. The spindle holder is itself fastened releasably to a machine base (1) by means of a hol...
