Apparatus for slip-forming concrete to form a path comprising in combination a box having a front wall extending downwardly through the box, and a rear wall extending downwardly at an angle through the box to a location above the front wall, and opposing side walls coupling the front and rear walls extending downwardly to define the closed box having an upper opened end for receiving concrete and a lower opened end with a vertically disposed opened mouth defined by the vertical edges of the side...
The present invention is a tool for scribing a paver. The tool allows for the alignment and scribing of rectangular pavers to be placed in an arc pattern. The tool includes an alignment head having a left end and a right end. A scribe guide extends from said alignment head, said scribed guide including a scribing side. A first guide pin extends from said right end of said alignment head and a second guide pin extends from said left end of said alignment head.
A pedestal support for an elevated paver deck assembly including a cylindrical tower, a cap slidably mountable on the upper end of the tower for supporting a plurality of pavers, and a base slidably mountable on the lower end of the tower. Interlocking spacers for adjusting the height of the pedestal support and the relative heights of the pavers are also provided. A method for constructing an elevated paver deck assembly including the pedestal supports is also disclosed.
An asphalt paver screed includes a linkage mechanism connecting a main screed and at least one extender screed. The linkage mechanism controls movement of the extender screed relative to the main screed (via a pair of upper and lower frames connecting the extender screed and main screed) along three generally perpendicular axes. The linkage mechanism includes a plurality of links with at least one elongate lateral link extending along a lateral axis generally parallel to a first horizontal axis,...
In a slip-form paver for road constructions of concrete, at least one transverse distribution means, at least one stripper device, one slip form and at least one concrete paving screed are arranged on a support frame, said concrete paving screed being a high-compaction paving screed which is floatingly hinged by means of at least two extension bars, which are located approximately in parallel with the base course, to pulling points of the support frame which are positioned in the traveling direc...
An improved extended auger arrangement and an improved asphalt paver with a tractor unit and a screed assembly, including a main screed and extendable screeds, having such an improved extended auger arrangement, the extendable screeds extending laterally outwardly from the main screed such that the screed assembly spans a width substantially greater than the width of the tractor unit. The extended auger arrangement includes a pair of opposing, oppositely pitched, inner augers, rotatable about a ...
A paver and a corresponding loader each have a chassis (1) which is provided, at the front in the paving direction, with a hopper (8) for receiving material to be paved and, at the rear, with a floating screed (4), a longitudinal conveyor device (7) being provided between the hopper (8) and a distributor auger (6) located in front of the screed (4) in the paving direction, the hopper (8) being open towards the longitudinal conveyor device (7) and including two hopper halves (9) which are each pi...
A screed for a paver has a baseplate and at least one tamper bar arranged in front of the baseplate. The tamper bar extends transversely to the paving direction and is movable in upward and downward directions by means of an eccentric drive and is capable of being electrically heated. At least one coil is provided, which is arranged so as to be adjacent to the tamper bar and to which a high-frequency current may be applied by means of an electrical current source. The current flowing through the...
A side plate system for a slip-form paver apparatus includes a side plate in contact with a finishing pan, a vertically extendable and retractable tube assembly between the side plate and the frame of the paver apparatus, a set screw device for setting a batter angle of the side plate by pivoting the tube assembly and a thumbscrew device for maintaining a seal between the side plate and the finishing pan by closing any gap therebetween.
The invention relates to a paver for the paving of ground courses for roads or the like, having a chassis and a trailed floating screed which is articulated on the latter via tow arms and of which the angle of attack relative to the ground is capable of being adjusted via actuating cylinders and which comprises a basic screed and extendable screeds and/or attached screed parts, there being arranged between the rear region, as seen in the paving direction, of the chassis and the extendable screed...
