An apparatus in which a set of sheets is stapled together. A predetermined length of wire is fed to the stapler. A wire cutter is positioned along the wire as a function of the movement of the clamper clamping the sheets of the set. The wire cutter cuts the wire at the cutting position and a forming bar forms the cut wire into a staple. A driving bar then drives the staple through the set of sheets to staple the sheets together.
The present invention relates to a stapling machine which comprises: a stapling magazine for receiving staples which has a staple discharge opening at one end and a cover, pivotally mounted to the magazine at the other end. The cover is pivotally movable between a closed position overlying the magazine and an open position. A staple support is provided within the magazine which supports the staples therein. A follower is slidably mounted on the support for urging the staples toward the discharge...
An improved stapling machine is disclosed which comprises a support base with a one-piece configuration capable of flexing and which defines two wings, one for support which forms a slightly sloping anvil and another for carrying the stapling-machine head/staple holder, which are connected together via a curved core; and a guide rule, fitted on said sloping anvil and defining the point-bending cavity opposite the stapling head.
A stapling machine includes a housing having a drive wheel journaled therein, and a portion of the drive wheel projects beyond the housing and engages the surface across which the machine is advanced. As the machine advances across the surface the drive wheel rotates and drives a trip wheel having camming surfaces which move an operating lever. The operating lever cocks a hammer against the bias of a drive spring so that when the trip wheel releases the lever staples are driven from a magazine l...
An electric stapler comprising: a staple bending table; a main arm having a staple push-out blade at the forward edge thereof and supported turnably at the rear edge thereof; a sub-arm turnably supported by said main arm at a position other than the support point for rotation of said main arm; and a drive mechanism connected turnably to said sub-arm at a position more forward with respect to the support point of said sub-arm and imparting a rotary force in one direction to said sub-arm.
The present invention provides for the safe and effective installation of staples. The device has a hollow body at its upper end, a cap plate with an opening attached to the upper end of the body, and a driver shaft mounted to slide within the cap plate. A block is secured within the body at the lower end of the body remote from the cap plate. The block has two channels and a striker slides through the channels. An indentation is located in the lower end of the block to hold the arch of a staple...
A stapling device includes a housing pivotally attached to a base member and having a channel formed by a partition, a staple drive plate slidably received in the housing, a staple magazine slidably engageable in the channel of the housing and having a front staple drive space. A staple feeder is engaged into the staple magazine and includes a spring-biased pusher for forcing staples forwardly toward the staple drive space of the staple magazine, and for allowing the staples to be driven by the ...
A solenoid powered apparatus for clenching staples is disclosed. The known force-displacement output of the solenoid is converted to match the known force required to clench the staple legs.
A stapling machine, whose arms, of which one carries the stapling head and staple magazine and the other an anvil for bending them into shape, are constructed in a single piece body and are linked together about a weakened joint area with at least two leaves acting upon it or upon a cross stiffener in the same plane or at an angle to one another, and said arms being provided also with a guide arrangement which prevents any sideways bending between the arms. The stapling head incorporates in a fr...
A stapler unit has a staple section, a cutter section, and a receiving section. A stapling device further includes a staple recovery box which is disposed at a staple discarding position and which recovers the tip ends to be discarded from the receiving section; and a staple discarding mechanism which delivers the tip ends received in the receiving section of the stapler unit to the staple recovery box. One of the plural stapling positions is identical with the staple discarding position.
