Disclosed is a measuring and proportioning system for mixing biological fluids. A blood sample having an ion or other component concentration is passed through a sensor to produce a corresponding electrical output which is stored in a track and hold circuit. The sensor is then coupled to a pair of intravenous fluid reservoirs and the flow from the reserviors through the sensor detected and controlled by a servo amplifier to produce an intravenous fluid having the same component concentration.
