Wellhead supported subsea template apparatus and methods of installing such template apparatus are provided. The template apparatus are each comprised of a central support member adapted to be positioned into engagement with an upper portion of an existing wellhead and to be supported thereon above the sea floor. Attached to the template are a plurality of laterally spaced guide slot members, mechanisms for removably connecting the central support member to a running tool, and mechanisms for pre...
A method and apparatus for separate compilation of templates by creating an executable program from source programs having templates that include a source file having a template definition and one or more source files having a template instantiation, and by providing a compiled object file having the template definition as input to compilation processes for creating object files having the template instantiation upon object files are provided to a linker process for creating the executable progr...
An apparatus for and method of utilizing an internet terminal coupled to the world wide web to access an existing proprietary data base management system having a dialog-based request format. The user is permitted to access an HTML template within the internet terminal. Entry of data into the HTML template provides for definition of a dialog-base request in the command language of the existing proprietary data base management system. The request is received by a web server from the world wide we...
Templates having sets of frame, channel, and possibly "dot" cutouts, and methods for using such templates for shaping and laying out photographs on a page to create a decorative pattern.
A portable measuring device for comparing the size of a body to an article of clothing. The invention comprises a measuring tape having either absolute or relative measurements imprinted thereon. The circumference of a body location is measured and a dimension, either relative or absolute, is determined. The measured dimension is then compared to a series of nested, rigid templates, each template representing a specific circumferential dimension. A template is selected based upon the circumferen...
A method and system for enabling a user to import a user-defined graphics edit into at least one template, the method including the steps of selecting, by the user, at least one first editable object, editing, by the user, at least part of the at least one first editable object, thereby producing a user-defined graphics edit, saving the user-defined graphics edit, selecting, by the user, a template containing at least one second editable object; and applying at least part of the user-defined gra...
A template creator creates a template class that stores at least one template parameter. The template creator also specifies at least one additional object to be created when an instance of the template class is created. A template user initiates the creation of a new instance of the template class. If an error occurs during the creation of the new instance of the template class, the template user receives a report identifying the error.
Methods are provided for detecting the sense and antisense transcripts and for determining template strand of a genomic DNA. Exemplary methods include reverse transcribing transcripts without second strand synthesis. The resulting single stranded DNA is labeled and detected using nucleic acid probe arrays. In a particularly embodiment, actinomycin is used to inhibit the synthesis of second strand cDNA during reverse transcription.
The invention relates to a method for producing capsules provided with a polyelectrolyte covering, and to the capsules obtained using this method.
An interactive apparatus is disclosed. In one embodiment, the interactive apparatus includes a base unit. The base unit can has a surface and an array of electrical elements under the surface. A removable template is placed on the base unit and is positioned over the surface. The removable template has a movable element that the user can move and a speaker in the apparatus can produce an audio output in response to the movement of the movable element.
