A trolley 10 for negotiating stairs with three overlapping pairs of wheels 11, 18, 19 the tangential plane 20 of which is fixed acute angle of about 30.degree. to the back 13 of the frame 12. In normal use the wheels 18, 19 are off the ground so that trolley 10 can be easily maneuvered on front wheels 11.
A pivotally suspended trolley swing that can be propelled by the rider in both a horizontal direction and the radial direction of a normal swing. The device comprises a rigid frame which supports a trolley track at a selected height above the ground. The trolley, which is mounted for to and fro motion along the track, comprises a carrier near the front and rear ends of which are pivotally attached the upper ends of rigid hanger struts which support the swing. The hanger struts are also pivotally...
A portable case having a mechanism capable of converting said case into a trolley. The mechanism is formed from basically two related sets of components, including base members connected to the sides of the case and each capable of extending a forward end beyond one end of the case, and a handle structure having arm members longitudinally slidable in relation to the base members and capable of being pivoted and locked at an angle with respect to the base members. In one embodiment, wheels are su...
A novel crane trolley has four guiding pulleys lying on opposed upper and lower guiding surfaces, arranged diagonally to eliminate the need for having eight guiding pulleys. On each side of the trolley are upper and lower guiding pulleys, with the lower in front on one side and the upper in front on the other side. The pulleys may be mounted under spring tension. Two such trolleys may be hinged together to support heavy loads.
An orthopaedic trolley for leg support to allow mobility in cases of injury or disablement of the foot or ankle comprising a support structure 18 slidably mounted in a sleeve 26 having legs 20 splayed outwardly therefrom. The legs 20 are mounted on castors 24 or rotatable wheels. A cradle 14 is provided having a foam filled 16 inner portion and extending therefrom a maneuvering handle 22.
A vehicle for transporting shopping trolley or carts. The vehicle has a tray for the loading of the shopping trolleys, and adapted for movement from a transportation position to a lower loading position in which trolleys can be easily loaded thereon. The tray maintains a substantially constant horizontal orientation through this movement. A tailgate or rear ramp is positioned at the rear of the tray and is movable between a ground engaging position and a raised position generally blocking the re...
The present invention relates to a trolley for supporting a tire of a vehicle so that the latter can be moved without the tire touching the ground. More specifically, the apparatus of the present invention comprises a foldable frame equipped with at least one front wheel and two rear wheels, self adjusting and locking front and rear support members haivng a plurality of parallel rows of rollers, the outermost rollers being bevelled to help center the vehicle tire on the tolley and to minimize th...

A conveyor trolley with a pair of wheels rolling on a flat upper face of an upper end rail portion of a guide rail, one wheel acting as a drive wheel and attached to an output shaft of a speed-reducing unit mounted on a trolley body movably supported on the guide rail, and a motor for driving the output shaft via a speed-reducing mechanism in the speed-reducing unit, the trolley having a collector unit for supplying power to and communicating control signals with the motor, guide rollers for lat...
A supporting device to elevate and facilitate pulling a garden hose is disclosed. The device is composed of a support and a hose holder which is affixed to the top of the support. The hose holder includes a channel defined by one or more rotary members, such as rollers or pulleys. The channel is dimensioned to relatively snugly receive a hose. When a hose is dragged through the channel, it leans against one or more of the rotary members and causes the latter to turn. As a result, the hose can be...
